In true midterm style, I took an average of all the participants to see what house did best on the exam. The average scores are (out of 10):

Slytherin: 9.5 - Congrats to my snakes!

We had a lot of entires about what Voldy's Patronus could be. It seems that the the voters believe that his patronus would be none other than himself which took First Place by

star55 of Gryffindor! Second Place was entry 2 (the first one) by

magistrates and a tie for Third Place with entry 1 by

pixie_riot and entry 2b by

seserakh all three from Slytherin! Congrats to all!

So there are a lot of thoughts about what Voldy's Patronus would be... most of them are similar so it looks like if we were in a sorting community it would probably win, however we are in a contest and value the logic behind the responses. So there are a lot of entries but vote for who best articulates their ideas or really for anyone you want... lol

There is some debate if Voldemort has a patronus. Some argue that he is just too evil to produce a patronus, others argue that he still have happy thoughts (even if it is about evil things) and he is powerful enough to cast a patronus. So lets side with argument two for a minute and figure out what his patronus would be!

Wizards and witches that dabble in the dark arts are tricky and never want to get caught, so hiding dark objects in the muggle world is a great way to make sure the Ministry workers will not detect your dark objects. However, the DADA club has caught on to this trick and we are charged with tracking down these dark objects is your first mission for the term.

Hello everyone!

The DADA club will be up and running for the new term! I am excited to be the leader again this term and apologize for being MIA for December... there are plenty of reasons but no need to re-hatch old issues!

So here is your first assignment as great club member:

1. Sign the roster if you haven't already!
2. Buy the book and let me know on the roster when you buy them - its 10 point extra for all activities that you participate in!
3. Submit activity ideas that you would like to do for the club on the roster page! I try to use your ideas as much as possible and its 5 bonus points if you participate in your activity.
