Details: Everyone knows the old adage, 'It's not what you know, but who'. We know some of the wizarding celebrities Slughorn has helped along the way, but now it's your chance to make one up!


Your task is to create a wizarding celebrity using any dollmaker, and write a bit about them - why they are famous, how they know Slughorn, etc. Include as many or as few details as you like!

Name: Alcyone Barrow
Bio: Alcyone is somewhat like a beauty blogger or lifestyle influencer would be in the Muggle world. Anything she talks about, uses or endorses seems to turn to gold as hordes of witches rush to emulate her cool, effortless style. Her favorite kind of lipstick sold out two days after an article in Witch Weekly came out where she talked about it. Two days! The interesting thing about Alcyone is she came from extremely humble roots. Through hard work and relentless effervescent self-promotion, she climbed her way to the top. Though Slughorn obviously doesn't care too much for recommendations about hair potions or witch empowerment, since it doesn't directly apply to him, he does have respect for someone who's hustled her way to such fame and fortune.
