Narcissa Malfoy was trying to cast a concealment charm on herself but instead she cast it on her wand. Not quite being adept at wandless magic, she flailed at and grasped at every object in the manor, up to and including the house-elves, in a desperate attempt to find her now-invisible wand. Fortunately, both Lucius and Draco were away so they did not witness the usually unflappable Narcissa in such a panicked state. Finally, after the Manor had been torn apart, she felt something hard in her hand and realized she had been holding her invisible wand the whole time!

Seamus carefully pointed his wand at the small, pink pig on the desk in front of him. With a careful flick of his wrist and a softly muttered spell -- since Seamus hadn't mastered silent spells yet -- he attempted to levitate the tiny animal. Thick smoke suddenly covered the entire classroom, causing everyone to cough and sneeze radically. That was strange, since it was a simple levitation spell that didn't involve sparks or flames. When the smoke cleared, the pig was nowhere to be found. Soon, they heard squealing coming from the ceiling and looking up, saw the fat piggie floating overhead. He'd been successful after all!

Hannah had been practicing wingardium leviosa and found herself with a bunch of floating books. It made her laugh, seeing all her books floating in the air. She reached out and touched one of the books. It floated out of her reach. She grinned and looked around her room. Her eyes landed on one of her plush toys and she held out her wand and said the words. She laughed again in delight as the bear rose into the air and began to float in between the books. She watched, thoroughly fascinated by the floating objects. This was such fun!

Neville was cowering in the back of the Charms classroom. They were going to be practicing blocking hexes today and, to be quite frank, he wanted none of it. Lavender caught sight of him, however, and dragged him over to her group. The gaggle of Gryffindor girls giggled as Neville turned approximately 10 shades of crimson at the attention. He just KNEW that he would be the first one attempting to block an onslaught of hexes. Sure enough, next thing he knew, the air around him was a rainbow light show as they all cast their spells at once. When the smoke cleared, Neville found himself with a pink feather duster on his ass and an inability to stop doing the macarena. Diabolical.

Luna was excited to discover a spell for summoning a fairy in an old library book. She quickly did the spell. A flash of magic later, there was no fairy floating in front of her. She shrugged, it had been a long shot anyway--it was well known that no respecting fairy would dare show herself to a stranger.

Luna sighed, disappointed. She had hoped to finally meet a fairy and she turned to leave the library. Her madly growing hair still sprouting new hair flowed passed her shoulders trailing behind her like a bride's white wedding veil as she left.

Honestly, Hannah hadn't expected it to happen this way. She just wanted to try a simple Color-Changing Charm on her hair to see how it would feel to be a ginger, then harmlessly reverse the charm to return to blonde status. But the charm had a devilishly tricky little wand flick involved and she'd done it the teeniest bit wrong. Instead of a nice ginger like that Ginny Weasley girl had, Hannah's hair turned the red of a new Quaffle. She was horrified when she looked in the mirror. Not only that, since she hadn't done the charm properly, the reversal spell she learned didn't help either. Instead, it caused clumps of that red hair to start falling, looking like streaks of fire as it hit the dorm room floor. Now thoroughly terrified, it was all she could do to rush to Madam Pomfrey--her hood over her head, hair continuing to fall--and plea for some assistance in getting her hair back to normal. Pomfrey, who saw so many cases of this among female students that it no longer phased her, quickly and calmly helped. That was how Hannah learned to work with what you have.

Ron had heard plenty of rumors in his years at Hogwarts. This one was so far fetched and wild that he didn’t dare do it at school and waited until he was home alone before even thinking of it. He turned on the shower and let the steam fill the room. He stepped into the shower and held his wand out awkwardly as to not get it wet. It was highly unlikely that this would work, but he would try it anyway. Muttering a charm to clear the bathroom of the steam, since it was so hard to check himself out in the mirror, he poked his head out behind the shower curtain. He saw the room was still filled with steam. Something else was affected though and his beloved Christa was sure to enjoy it.

Ginny was so tired of being harassed by Slytherins that her anger had reached its limit. Turning around with her wand raised, she shouted out the first hex she could think of. It was the Bat Bogey Hex she'd read about in one of the twins' spell books. Unfortunately for Ginny, it was her first attempt at the spell, and her magic was rather uncontrolled due to her high level of emotion. The hex burst forth in a cloud of sparks, but instead of being attacked by giant bat bogeys, the Slytherins found themselves laughing their heads off as Ginny sprouted bat wings herself and stumbled over. Feeling dizzy and unstable, Ginny vowed that next time she would get the spell right, and teach those Slytherin gits once and for all not to mess with a Weasley, especially the youngest.

Hermione was amazing at all kinds of charms and spells. Everyone knew that. So she was feeling extra confident the day she decided to try the invisibility spell. After all, it was getting so cramped under the Invisibility Cloak now that she, Harry and Ron were getting taller, so it just made sense that she branch out on her own. She took her wand, pointed it at herself, and — ta da! — she was invisible! Except she wasn’t. Her feet and her bushy curls were still visible! And the worst part was it took her 48 hours and the help of Ron and Harry, who would never let her forget it, to reverse it.

-.- I've had that open and done for ages but forgot to submit OMG WHAT AN IDIOT I AM. Do I still count? D:

"Well, this is awkward." Andromeda raised an eyebrow, looking around in the kitchen. Unlike her husband, she wasn't overly amused about what she saw; Ted, however, was standing right next to her, almost bursting with laughter. She turned around to look at him, the expression on her face capable of killing, but he'd sitll not stop.

"Dromeda," he gasped, smiling widely at her. "I had no idea you were intending to redecorate the kitchen!"

Andromeda gave a quiet sigh, shook her head as she took a few steps forward to examine the disaster a little closer. She'd always considered herself excellent at any kinds of healing spells, but of course she made mistakes, too! Turning the kitchen pink, however, had never been one of them.

You're nearly there, or are you really? To your left is a karaoke game where your fingers need be nimble, to your right, a collection of pictures of libraries and bookstores. Which way do you go?
