DADA: Your DADA Posse

Everyone who has read Harry Potter realizes the importance of having the right people on your side (DA, the Order, Death Eaters, etc). So I was wondering who would you choose to have your back! Also every great posse had a awesome name The Order of the Phenix, Death Eaters, The Marauders, Dumbledore's Army (Ok so not every group.



Details
- You will have to come up with a group of 4 to 5 people and why you chose that person (Canon based- not fanfic based).
- You will come up with their Posse's name.
- You have to have a members from at least 3 houses represented on your Posse
- The members must be from Canon (ie, Marauders time, Harry's time, or professors - so not next gen).
- Make Comments on others people's posse make up that will lead/continue discussion. This isn't "Great Posse" or "I want to Join" or "Very Funny" try to aim for at least 25 words.

Points:
10 points - Making your Posse AND stating why people are on your posse!
2 points - For comments (25 words or more) on other people's posse's (up to 25 points)
10 pt max. for Bonus Item

Dates: submissions from now until 5:59 pm CDT on Nov. 14 (11:59 pm UTC on Nov. 14)

Why he/she is on my posse Did you read what she did during the Battle of Hogwarts? Woman is killer at magic. If I were to have her and her team of galloping desks in my posse, I think we'd be unbeatable. Her and her flying knives would be perfect for Team Teacher.

Why he/she is on my posse She has a kickass connection to those most dangerous denizens of the magical kingdom: plants. She could whomp the whomping willow, hurl mandrakes at our enemies, extract the venom from a venomous tentacula, and basically turn the forces of nature against whoever threatens our posse.

Why he/she is on my posse I'm not sure I can think of someone more adept at Dark Magic, or a better Occlumens. Snape could trick our enemies into believing he is on their side, then take them out with a sectumsempra to the chest. He could brew a potion to heal us when we're down, and one to melt our enemies' arms off. When he isn't snarking or slicing, he'll be making up new spells for us to use to hang our enemies up by their ankles.

Why he/she is on my posse I am hard pressed to think of anyone who knows more protection spells. Flitwick has the power to protect our posse as we fight. When he isn't protecting us, he'll be using his prodigious dueling skill. He was a dueling champion when he was a young man, after all.

Why he/she is on my posse I'm not sure I need to explain this. He's one of the greatest magic-users who has ever lived. Voldemort eared him, Grindelwald was defeated by him, magic was changed by him. Dumbledore will be able to suss out any threats to us and neutralize it before they even become a problem. Also, Dumbledore is my ~soul mate~ and we will have a great deal of fun together kicking ass and eating delicious candy.

I love that you thought to make a posse of teachers! Nobody really thinks of them as a "posse" but as the teachers of Hogwarts - they stand together, work together, and fight together.

Team Teacher was the very first thing that came to mind for me. I was originally going to call them "Team Old" and laugh about it, but Severus is kind of a young man and he'd probably poison my wine for making fun of him or something.

Hmmmm. Well, we'll have to coordinate schedules, but I don't see why not. Make sure you have plenty of oak matured mead in supply! Albus and Filius can't get enough of it. And Severus, though he'll never admit it. ;)

Ooooh the teacher posse. Are you the teacher's pet then? haha I suddenly feel like your group is kind of X-Men ish, which I'm not going to lie, is pretty awesome. I can see you all really kicking some butt or, you know, visiting Lockhart in St. Mungo's.
