Hi Music Club Memebers!
It's been a while. And I appologize for that. The flu, spring break, and midterms have been just a few of the things I've been dealing with.
So here's our Participation Activity for March. Because I really need some new music to listen to...we will be recommending music. Just name a: new / not well known / older artist who has released new stuff AND post a link of where you can LISTEN to that artist's music. You can find that at: the artist's website, Myspace Music, Amazon.com (clips), or anywhere else you can think of.
You can share any artist's music. As long as you don't name Kanye West, or Pink Floyd...or something extremely well known like that. (If you wanted to listen to their music you could just turn on the radio and hear it within 15 minutes.)
So here are my recommendations to you: (if you listen to them, comment and lemme know what you think!)
1) Regina Spektor: Listen to Soviet Kitsch Album Skip through and listen to "Ode to Divorce", "Poor Little Rich Boy", "Sailor Song", "Your Honor", and "Chemo Limo"...those are my favorites off this album. (A lot, I know. Hah)
Listen to Songs Album: Just listen to the first song, "Sampson"...it's gorgeous.

2) Pink: You all *have* to watch her new video for the song, Stupid Girls. Just go here. It's her website, and the video plays in the bottom left corner. I swear, this song is my *anthem*. It's also my ringtone.

Date: 2006-03-14 10:36 pm (UTC)Click here (http://www.bandbuilder.com/somethingcorporate/index.php?ref_code=D57397) and then click on launch and their song Ruthless should start to play :) If you look up in the top right hand corner you can actually listen to the whole CD by pressing next and such. North has quite a bit of variety. You can also watch their video for Space in that same little window. Yay for spreading So Co love. :)

2. Saves the Day, kinda on the same stuff as So Co, but nothing compares to So Co. If anyone has heard of Reliant K before they went mainstream, the kinda of joking music, that's what Saves the Day is. You can listen to clips here (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00005M977/sr=8-1/qid=1142374844/ref=pd_bbs_1/102-6540755-9475360?%5Fencoding=UTF8) but since I don't have WMP I can't test to see which ones work well, so just look around :p.

3. Relient K, the old years. Sadly I know that you can hear them on the radio now but not the Reliant K I fell in love with. My favourite CD by them is Two Lefts Don't Make A Right...But Three Do. Which you can listen to clips of songs here (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00008H2JU/qid=1115749259/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl15/103-3408119-4709432?n=507846&s=music&v=glance). They weren't always so poppy :(
