Sorry for the late start. School decided to throw some unexpected things my way. But, I have an activity that is quite easy for now. It goes along with another activity I am planning for later this month. =]


So, astrological signs are something most people are interested in. We all use them as a source of entertainment, for horoscopes, and even just to compare what our sign represents to ourselves. In essence, I have some simple questions for you to answer about your astrological sign. Answers must be turned in to a comment on this post before midnight Saturday, February 11. Don't forget to sign with your name and house!

2. What is your astrological sign? Taurus
3. What are some traits/characteristics common to your sign? Taureans are very solid, earthly people. They enjoy the comforts of life, such as good wine, good food, luxiourous fabrics, and basically anything beautiful. As a Venus controlled sign they have a great sense of asthetics. They often overeat,however, as they love good food too! Taurus is the sign of a bull, and as such, they are very stubborn. The more you prod, the more likely they are to stand their ground and just stare blankly at you. They aren't quick to anger, but when they do finally lose their temper, you better hope you aren't the one holding the red cloth. They will gore you. And then forget that they ever did that, and why are you so upset? Honestly. Taureans enjoy a structured enviroment, and can panic if placed in a new situation with no guidelines. These folks don't take well to change. They tend to be methodical. The colors for Taurus are blue and dark, rich browns. The colors of luxury.
4. Does your sign accurately represent you? If so / if not, why? I am a Taurus to a t! My despcription up there fits me perfectly, and part of that may be because I wrote that all from memory and I'm more likely to remember what does fit me! I very rarely look at a description of Taurus and go "uh. No. Not so much."
5. What image is used to represent your sign? The Bull! It comes from the myth of Europa and Zeus. Europa was a pretty little maiden flouncing about in a feild. She had said no to the advances of Zeus, King of the Gods, on several occasions. So Zeus took the form of a white bull and approached Europa. Of course Europa was a total twit and was like. Oh, such a pretty bull! I shall pet it! Zeus managed to get her onto his back and took off to the sea. Europa was stuck on the bulls back, because apparently she couldn't swim. He took her to a deserted island and had his way with her. After changing back toa human form, I'm presuming. Ahhh. Taurus. Sign of deception and ambiguous sexual consent. Good times.
