Sorry for the late start. School decided to throw some unexpected things my way. But, I have an activity that is quite easy for now. It goes along with another activity I am planning for later this month. =]
So, astrological signs are something most people are interested in. We all use them as a source of entertainment, for horoscopes, and even just to compare what our sign represents to ourselves. In essence, I have some simple questions for you to answer about your astrological sign. Answers must be turned in to a comment on this post before midnight Saturday, February 11. 3. What are some traits/characteristics common to your sign? Moody, self-absorbed, imaginative, intuitive, loyal, cautious.
4. Does your sign accurately represent you? If so / if not, why? Up until a few months ago, I always said no because I thought most of these traits were awful and whatnot. But I've since realized that it's very true and applicable to me and so I've accepted the inevitable. :-) I'm bipolar, so that takes care of the moodiness, and I do tend to wallow in self-pity and be a bit selfish. I'm a writer and you really can't do that without having a good imagination, and I'm also very intuitive - people don't have to tell me certain things about themselves and I just know them. I'm a loyal friend. And I'm cautious is just about everything, from making friends to theme parks. So, I'd say yes, it very much represents me.
5. What image is used to represent your sign? *sigh* The crab. To this day, it irks me. But I suppose it's accurate.

Apparently we're fickle! Also, I heard once that Geminis are more likely to bite their nails.

Usually, basic descriptions are fairly good for me. I mean, I'm NOT a Virgo or a Capricorn. It's Taurus and Gemini that are the closest to me, and technically I was born under Taurus 'cause of the shift of the heavens. :P
5. What image is used to represent your sign?
The twins! Castor and Pollux. Wasn't their mom Leia and their dad Zeus-in-swan-form?

It does and then it doesn't, well in my opinion...people who know me could say otherwise. It's almost correct, I guess.

4. Does your sign accurately represent you? If so / if not, why? I think that my sign does represent me well. I'm bipolar, so my moods change like -snaps- that. I can be really bossy and intolerant of people being slow, yet at the same time I'll be all happy and laughing.

3. What are some traits/characteristics common to your sign? Optimism, freedom loving, intellectual, wonderlust, honest, striaght forward, careless, restless, irresponsible.
4. Does your sign accurately represent you? If so / if not, why? Yes, I have the optimism, and I do have a wonderlust and often get restless. I have be active, I can't stay in bed all day and not do anything. This is bad when I am sick because I swear it makes it worst. Cause I will, if it is, go outside in the rain then. I like being able to leave somewhere so yeah, freedom loving.

3. What are some traits/characteristics common to your sign? Modest and shy, Meticulous and reliable, Practical and diligent, Intelligent and analytical, Fussy and a worrier, Overcritical and harsh, Perfectionist and conservative
4. Does your sign accurately represent you? If so / if not, why? Some of it does, and some of it doesn't completely fit. I am not strongly meticulous or conservative. Everything else is pretty true of me to some extent in certain ways in this basic description. Though to be honest I've generally found myself fitting more with other signs (namely Pisces and Cancer) than Virgo but I know there's a part of me that does have some Virgo qualities, too. I'm a giant mixed bag. :P

3. What are some traits/characteristics common to your sign? Determined, forceful, emotional, intuitive, powerful, passionate, exciting, aware, magnetic, jealous, resentful, compulsive, obsessive, secretive, obstinate, intense, curious, deep thinker, vindictive, sullen, bad tempered.
4. Does your sign accurately represent you? If so / if not, why? Oh hell yes. I'm almost the ultimate Scorpio. Out of the above list the only ones I would shake my head at would be 'exciting' and 'powerful'. Everything else on that list I am, almost 100%. The negative traits especially (perhaps unfortunately).

3. What are some traits/characteristics common to your sign? Well Capricorns are suppose to be the power-house earth sign. Their good leaders, stubborn, hardworking, reliable, then tend to be more laid-back and less high strong then most signs. They usually make good politians, salesman, and other business man.
4. Does your sign accurately represent you? If so / if not, why? I think I have all the characteristics of a Capricorn but I don't have the initial drive and passion for something...my sagitarius side is makes me more into the arts than most capricorns plus I have a fondness for travelling which Capricorns tend to like to be home and Sagitarians love to be out and about!!!!!
5. What image is used to represent your sign? The capricorn was once a god in exile who change his body intto half goat (head and front part of body and the tail of a fish/mermaid/ whatever you want to call it) Very odd but cool I think!

4. Does your sign accurately represent you? If so / if not, why? Yes and no, I am stubborn and determined but I will never walk over someone to get to the top, it just isn't my style. I spend money like a saggitarius and I party like them too. I also have the same issues with flirting and relationships they do. A true capricorn could never be happy dating a true sag. and I am... so I guess I am flawed!

3. What are some traits/characteristics common to your sign? Libra: social, balance, indecisive, uncertain, fair, judgmental, loyal. Scorpio: anti-social, aggressive, controlling, passionate, suspicious of over-confidence and superficial attitudes.
4. Does your sign accurately represent you? If so / if not, why? I am without a doubt a text book Libra. I am very indecisive and feel like I have to look at all sides of every situation before making a judgment. If I make up my mind about something though, I stick to it (judgmental). I am also extremely loyal, and though I like socializing, I can also be very anti-social at times, like Scorpio. I do take a lot of traits from Scorpio, but not as strongly as Libra. I am not aggressive or controlling, though when I do understand a situation and others are not taking appropriate action, I will take over. I have been known to be a leader at some of my favorite activities. I am extremely passionate about the things I love, and I tire very quickly of overly optimistic people because it seems fake to me.

4. Does your sign accurately represent you? If so / if not, why? Not really. I am shy/modest in new settings and around new people. But people who actually know me don't think so at all :) i do think i am intelligent and humorous. the only negative trait that represents me is being a slight perfectionist, but only at work. and i am in no way prudish ;)

4. Does your sign accurately represent you? If so / if not, why? In some ways, yes. I found this quote on Astrology-online.com:
"In their everyday behavior they give the appearance of being withdrawn from the center of activity, yet those who know them will recognize the watchfulness that is part of their character. They need great self-discipline, because they are able to recognize the qualities in themselves that make them different from other humans, and to know their utterly conventional natures can be used for great good, or great evil."
That's almost perfectly me. Also, Scorpio's are known to be very jealous creatures, and not all that quick to forgive once hurt badly enough. I loyalty have this trait, as well as motivation and curiosity. Scorpio's tend to be very protective of those they love, and that is me exactly.
I'm not as sexual as many of my fellow Scorpio's, nor am I as ruthless as they tend to be. They also tend to be mysterious and secretive, neither of which fits my personality. To be perfectly honest, Scorpio is a very VERY Slytherin astrological sign, and that's really not my personality.
I'd say I'm probably split 50/50 as to if I fit the Scorpion persona or not.

3. What are some traits/characteristics common to your sign? Taureans are very solid, earthly people. They enjoy the comforts of life, such as good wine, good food, luxiourous fabrics, and basically anything beautiful. As a Venus controlled sign they have a great sense of asthetics. They often overeat,however, as they love good food too! Taurus is the sign of a bull, and as such, they are very stubborn. The more you prod, the more likely they are to stand their ground and just stare blankly at you. They aren't quick to anger, but when they do finally lose their temper, you better hope you aren't the one holding the red cloth. They will gore you. And then forget that they ever did that, and why are you so upset? Honestly. Taureans enjoy a structured enviroment, and can panic if placed in a new situation with no guidelines. These folks don't take well to change. They tend to be methodical. The colors for Taurus are blue and dark, rich browns. The colors of luxury.

My despcription up there fits me perfectly, and part of that may be because I wrote that all from memory and I'm more likely to remember what does fit me! I very rarely look at a description of Taurus and go "uh. No. Not so much."
5. What image is used to represent your sign? The Bull! It comes from the myth of Europa and Zeus. Europa was a pretty little maiden flouncing about in a feild. She had said no to the advances of Zeus, King of the Gods, on several occasions. So Zeus took the form of a white bull and approached Europa. Of course Europa was a total twit and was like. Oh, such a pretty bull! I shall pet it! Zeus managed to get her onto his back and took off to the sea. Europa was stuck on the bulls back, because apparently she couldn't swim. He took her to a deserted island and had his way with her. After changing back toa human form, I'm presuming. Ahhh. Taurus. Sign of deception and ambiguous sexual consent. Good times.

4. Does your sign accurately represent you? If so / if not, why? While parts of it are true, it's not really me. I'm not at all outgoing; I'm more reserved than anything else and rarely take risks. I'm more of a pessimist than a realist and making friends has always been difficult for me. I'm not really confident and I think I care more about myself and the few close to me than humanity or my community. What is true? I'm incredibly blunt at times so that bit is true. And I do have a bit of a temper problem. That's about it, really, so I can't say it fits me horribly well

I have always been obsessed with astrology, and I think I read my first astrological profile when I was 10 or something. I don't know if I've become who I am because of the profile, or if I am the way I am simply because I'm a Scorpio, but I fit it to a T.

3. What are some traits/characteristics common to your sign? Patient, loving, stubborn, trustworthy, security loving, possessive, inflexible, greedy, self-indulgent. It's an earth sign.
4. Does your sign accurately represent you? If so / if not, why? Probably, yes, which I really don't like to admit. So usually when I'm about to make a decision I try and rebel a bit against my star sign, telling myself it's good for me. I hate to be what people expect. Of course I suppose by doing that I'm living up to my star sign anyway. For example I'm living in a rented house at the moment at uni. We need to sort out if we're staying or not, now the whole of me screams to stay in this house, it's nice and easy and I can easily glaze over the bad bits. Which is exactly the reason I'm moving. Change is good for me, even if I don't want it. I really do get stuck in a rut if I don't try and change things. Even if I hate change, it's good for me. *repeats mantra* And my other one is (because I really do get attached to material things) that I can't take possessions with me, but I might be able to take experiences.
