As the Animagus Board is slowly making progress working its way through the current applications, I think it's time to announce a new rule:
Before you apply to become an animagus, you have to buy the first 5 books of the Standard Book of Spells Series at
hh_diagon.
Why? Well, becoming an animagus is *difficult*. Not just any first year student can become one. The books symbolize the years you spend at Hogwarts and having 5 of them means you're a 5th year student (in this club) and able to become an animagus.
So, off you go, earn knuts, buy the books, then apply!
Please fill out the application using the code below and add at the end =)
Please comment below (in screened comments) with your application, and we will get back to you within a few days. Please be detailed in your application. Same goes for this one as the one for
platform_934: explain your answers. We have millions of animals to pick from, not just 4 houses, so help us out a little by giving a detailed application. Thank you!

Re: meh?
Date: 2006-02-08 05:53 pm (UTC)I don't want anyone to be upset or mad at me. I just REALLY don't feel like either I came across well, maybe I wrote it wrong...
I don't want to make a bunch of work for you, we have 8 more to do now, and now that I have a better feel for it, I really am an excellent sorter.
It's all for fun, but it really should reflect the person and shouldn't be a coin toss, yknow?
Sorry to be a pain, you really needn't bother with it. I'm honestly ok with not having one. I can be a human animagus *lol*

Date: 2006-02-08 06:43 pm (UTC)Anyway, I've been giving this some thought and narrowed it down to 2 options. Feel free to pick either, or reapply later =) I just really wanted to give this another try ^_^
* Black-Footed Ferret: Your application is very energetic, which made me think of a ferret. Very active creatures, ferrets. They can hurt you if they want to, but they're not aggressive. They're nocturnal. They're social, cute and funny. They live in burrows.
* Hedgehog: I don't like to be touched. I've been hurt a lot. I'm generally very afraid of being smacked or hit, so something that could get away quickly and hide and be protected when I needed, but not something unfriendly.
That part made me think of a hedgehog. They usually run away when threatened, but they have a nice defense mechanism that will make others think twice about touching them. They're nocturnal. They live in small burrows. They hibernate (since you don't like being cold). ...they have sphincter control?

They're cute and spriteful :)
