The Animagus Club

As the Animagus Board is slowly making progress working its way through the current applications, I think it's time to announce a new rule:

Before you apply to become an animagus, you have to buy the first 5 books of the Standard Book of Spells Series at hh_diagon.

Why? Well, becoming an animagus is *difficult*. Not just any first year student can become one. The books symbolize the years you spend at Hogwarts and having 5 of them means you're a 5th year student (in this club) and able to become an animagus.

So, off you go, earn knuts, buy the books, then apply!

House: Gryffindor
Best Trait: I'd have to go with my intelligence. It seems boastful to do so, but you asked. haha. I think that I'm a very smart person (although I am quite capable of doing dense things) and for years, I've always been "the smart one." I have always been one that has been really excited about school (at least until recently) and I always enjoyed doing the homework and was pretty good at picking things up quickly.
Worst Trait: I'd have to say my codependency/jealousy. I get easily attached to my friends and family and I do not like anyone to interfere with my time with them. I get jealous easily when they do. And I'm almost lost without my best friend, she's absolutely my savior. I like to travel in packs.
What would you want your animal form to be most capable of? I want an animal form that would be useful.. and clever. I love clever animals and I think it would go well with intelligence being my best quality.
Choose one of the following -- Air, Water, Earth Earth definitely. Being that I'm a Virgo, I believe it's one of my basic elements. Earth is very grounded and logical. I think that I would definitely have to pick that.
Warm or cool? Cool. I cannot stand to be hot. I am always more willing to be cool because you can always put on more layers of cold, but being hot just zaps the energy right out of you.
Morning or evening? Evening. Definitely nocturnal. I'm forever off my correct sleeping schedule and would much rather spend the night talking with friends than getting up early. Though I usually have to compromise for school.
Do you like to have people around you or are you more of a loner? I think I said this before, but I do like to travel in groups..and I love to be in groups, like I like to have two or three people around me.

What are your favorite hobbies and extracurricular activities? I love reading and being on the computer. I love to listen to music. I like having background noise, it's comforting to me. I love playing games, board games, card games, word games, everything. I love shopping, of course. And I love to go bowling with my family, they always make it fun.
Are there any animals that you feel drawn to or a connection with? Of course, I adore dogs. I've always loved them and my current puppy is the love of my life right now, lol. I also have always loved Raccoons for some reason. I know they're like super evil, but they're really clever and they're nocturnal and they're just.. awesome. Plus I have to say.. I'm distracted by sparkly things just like them. haha.
Are there any animals you are afraid of? Spiders, snakes, bees.. you know the sort. I am absolutely petrified of spiders. They just.. freeze me in my tracks. :/
Why would you like to be an animagus? I think that it's admirable how much time it takes to become an animagus. I think that it's a very useful ability, of course. I just think that it's something that, if in the wizarding world, I would strive to work hard and become. And.. hello, it's cool!
