The Animagus Club

As the Animagus Board is slowly making progress working its way through the current applications, I think it's time to announce a new rule:

Before you apply to become an animagus, you have to buy the first 5 books of the Standard Book of Spells Series at hh_diagon.

Why? Well, becoming an animagus is *difficult*. Not just any first year student can become one. The books symbolize the years you spend at Hogwarts and having 5 of them means you're a 5th year student (in this club) and able to become an animagus.

So, off you go, earn knuts, buy the books, then apply!

Are there any animals that you feel drawn to or a connection with? I feel a connection with a killer whale (orca). Killer whales swim, obviously. The part that really draws me to them, though, is the fact they sing. Each whale pod has its own unique song or songs. They keep up with each other with their songs. Plus, they like large groups, too. ;)
Are there any animals you are afraid of? Ewww... this one's easy. I do not like snakes. I have been afraid of snakes since preschool. I do not know why, but I am. I freak out every time I happen to see one. I guess I'm afraid of getting bitten...
Why would you like to be an animagus? I figure being an animagus would accomplish something for me later on. It has to somehow be useful, depending on which animal I happen to be. I also love hard work (why else would I have dedicated 8 years of my life to music?). Plus, I love the challenge. :)

Also, FYI, I bought the books yesterday. I have enough knuts to cover the purchase. :)
