The Animagus Club

As the Animagus Board is slowly making progress working its way through the current applications, I think it's time to announce a new rule:

Before you apply to become an animagus, you have to buy the first 5 books of the Standard Book of Spells Series at hh_diagon.

Why? Well, becoming an animagus is *difficult*. Not just any first year student can become one. The books symbolize the years you spend at Hogwarts and having 5 of them means you're a 5th year student (in this club) and able to become an animagus.

So, off you go, earn knuts, buy the books, then apply!

Hey, I remember we weren't able to pick an animal for you before, because your application was a bit short. This one isn't much longer, so I'm giving you a little heads-up here. I would really feel bad if we wouldn't be able to sort you again, especially since you've gone through the trouble of buying the books.
To make it easier, we've added a couple of questions to the application. If you'd like to answers those and elaborate a bit on the others it would really help out. Thank you!

Trumpeter Swan -- Female swans will aggressively defend their nests and eggs from any threat. Swan wings have a very hard front edge that can be used to hit predators.

In order to complete your Animagus training, please submit a short essay (one page, double spaced length) on why you feel this animal compliments your personality to marije2308@yahoo.com . If you are not happy with the decision, please feel free to decline in a comment below. Once your essay is received, you will receive an official banner denoting your animal, and your name will be added to the Registered Animagus List. Thank you!
