I only read this because I had to for school (not a big fan of the general topic of war outside of WWII and the Cold war, but mostly because of the politics/aftermath) but I'm SO GLAD I actually read it.

You know, honestly, I thought I was going to hate it because WWII and The Holocaust are generally the only two history related things that interest me, but it wasn't a bad read, and it's now one of my favorite books, easily.
