Biography: Violetta Bulstrode married into the Black family at a young age. She was only 15 when her parents matched her with Cygnus Black II, a boy two years young than her. They were married three years later, a few days before Cygnus's sixteenth birthday. Her young husband was never happy with Violetta -- perhaps it was her boyish figure, strong shoulders or square face ("You look nothing like a delicate violet," he often reminded her). Maybe it was her intelligence that intimated him or the way she easily dismissed all of his ideas due to his "youth." Whatever the cause, their marriage was not a happy one, though it did result in four children. Violetta favored her oldest son, Pollux, and was neglectful of the other three, especially her two daughters who looked nothing like her. Tragically, Violetta died almost 20 years before her husband. Pollux raised a fuss about it, claiming his mother had been in perfect health (she was only 32 years of age, after all) but nothing ever came of it. Instead, she remained only a memory -- and not always a fond one.

Biography:
Lycoris Black fell in love with Cassandra Vablatsky the day she met the celebrated seer at a Divination convention the summer after Lycoris graduated. Despite the ten year age difference, which never truly mattered to the Blacks anyway, Lycoris and Cassandra began a relationship. They moved in together under the premise of Lycoris working as Cassandra’s apprentice. Lycoris took up modeling to make ends meet while Cassandra worked on her book, Unfogging the Future. Lycoris was betrothed at the age of nineteen to Newt Scamander, but a nasty case of dragonpox left her permanently and deeply scarred, which resulted in the Scamanders rescinding their marriage offer. Cassandra, who was blind by this point, enjoyed tracing the pox scars on Lycoris’ face and chest. Because of the scars, Lycoris’ parents dropped all attempts to marry off their only daughter. Lycoris was permitted to live with Cassandra for the rest of her life as the blind clairvoyant’s personal aid and secretary. If anyone in the family knew about the two women’s Sapphic inclinations, no one ever talked about them.
Then again, no one ever talked about much in the Black family.

Biography: Andromeda Black was born in November 1954 as a middle daughter, three years younger than Bellatrix and a year older than Narcissa. She looked so much like Bellatrix that people who had never met her often thought she was her older sister; she developed a repertoire of snarky comebacks and nasty hexes for those who refused to acknowledge that she was her own person. Being a Slytherin in the shadow of such a dominant personality was frustrating, even though she would eventually develop a reputation in her own right... enough so to be invited to the Slug Club, at least.
Ultimately, every pureblood wizard she dated would insist on comparing her to Bellatrix; worse, they might very well insist on calling her by the name of her elder sister instead of by her own name (a mistake which got more than one violently thrown out of bed and out the window). In order to find someone who respected her for her and not just as a clone of her sister, she had to look away from the usual circles, which is why she ended up looking at Muggleborn wizards who never would have thought of Bellatrix as anything other than a mortal enemy. She fell in love with the way Ted Tonks said her name... it was a sign that he loved her, not her sister.
Sure, some of the more unstable elements of Andromeda's family would never accept the marriage... but she knew it would endure... and that she would endure throughout it all...

Biography: Isla Black, born January 24, 1853, was struck off the Black Family tapestry by the family patriarch at the young age of 19 for marrying Muggle Bob Hitchens. For the rest of her natural life, she never again spoke to her parents or siblings Sirius, Phineas and Elladora. She would come to befriend her nephew Phineas who likewise earned the ire of the family for marrying a Muggle-born witch, subsequently removed from the family tree.
By all accounts, Isla and Bob had a happy marriage if not an entirely truthful one. It not being advisable during the nineteenth century to admit to witchcraft, particularly to a religious family like the Hitchens, Isla reportedly never told her husband about her magical side opting instead to live as a Muggle. Given that her husband lived to the astonishing age of 87 this is somewhat in doubt.
Survived by multiple children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was also widely admired for her contributions to the horticultural field, her prized gardens never known to be affected by disease, decay or the weather. She was thought to have a 'magic thumb'.

damn that was shortened :OBiography:
Druella Bérénice Rosier was born on February 4th 1930, as the only child to Régine and Alain Rosier who had moved to England only a year before, leaving their hometown Lyon. Druella's relationship to her parents was always close and affectionate; she grew up being loved, yet soon learned about her family's values, making a vow to never forget about them.
She entered Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1941, being sorted into Slytherin house. Soon, Druella found her best friend in Cygnus Black, whom she found out to be promised to since the date of her birth. Unlike many of her acquaintances, she awaited her wedding day with great impatience, aware of how lucky she was, being granted the chance to marry the man she had learned to love and trust more than anybody.
It appeared to be self-evident that Druella only earned the best grades during her time at school; she, however, quickly developed a particular fondness of potions and healing magic, never losing her love for these subjects, even years later. Soon after graduating from Hogwarts she married Cygnus, giving birth to her eldest daughter Bellatrix in 1951. Her younger daughters, Andromeda and Narcissa, followed in 1953 and 1955.

Biography: Ursula Flint was born May 18th, 1851 to Sasha and Marcus Flint, both of pureblood variety. She had black hair, blue eyes, and was taller than average height for that time-frame. She had gone to a wizarding school of an unknown name for 8 years. She did not need to repeat a year, she just wanted to go back for another after graduating. She met her husband, Phineas Nigellus, who became Headmaster of Hogwarts School, two years after leaving the school for good [in 1872]. They dated for three and a half years before eloping after finding out Ursula was pregnant with their first child, Sirius.
Ursula, after her pregnancy, planned on going into work as a secret traitor/spy, for she did not share the same views as those around her. She worked this way for six years, before she found out she was pregnant once more with Arcturus. 7 months into the pregnancy, Ursula was nearly killed on a secret mission, in which Phineas and her fought about 3 months after her second pregnancy.
She soon had depression, and nearly tried to kill herself into her second child's first year of birth. Phineas found her however, and they soon fixed their marriage, and shortly after came their third child, Belvina.
After the birth of Belvina, Ursula settled down and Phineas helped her when he was not at the school. They soon had a fourth child. They also had a fifth child, who was blasted off the family line for supporting muggle rights. He was named after his father, and blasted by his father.
Ursula was heartbroken about this, and soon stopped talking to Phineas. Phineas had a few affairs, Ursula became more heartbroken. Nothing is known after this time, including Ursula's death, though it is believed she somehow may be related to Marcus Flint.

Biography:
Walburga Black was raised by a very strict set of parents, who instilled in their daughter the importance of blood purity from a very young age. She was taught to be a proper Black and always remain proud and pure and rigid. Walburga helped to raise her two younger brothers and also spent a lot of time with her cousin Orion, to whom she was betrothed from the year of his birth, because her parents wanted to be certain that she would remain as pure as possible and keep the Black family line together.
Because of her upbringing, Walburga ended up being a strict parent herself, and was furious when her firstborn son Sirius began to rebel against her. Despite her outward hatred of Sirius's Gryffindor behavior, however, she loved her son dearly and was devastated when he ran from her. In fact, the real reason for her blasting both Sirius and Alphard's names from her tree is because her heart ached too much to look at them (though she would never, never admit to this aloud). Family was always the most important thing to her. She clung to her second son Regulus ever tighter as a result, and made sure to let him know how much she loved him, and how proud she was of him.
Although she supported Pureblood supremacy and believed that Muggles and Muggleborns were inferior, she did not actively wish any harm upon them. She would have been happy simply to live her life avoiding the lower beings and maintaining the Black family power and nobility.

Biography: Charis Black is the youngest daughter of Arcturus Black and Lysandra Yaxley, born just four short years after Callidora Black. She was as willful as the Black women are known to be, quick as lightning and sharp as a needle. While in Hogwarts she met the handsome young Caspar Crouch, and though she was not very much impressed by his staid manners and overly formal method of conversation she did marry him, heeding her parents' desires to form an alliance with the Crouch family, who at the time were well placed in public office.
She gave birth to three children: Bartemius Crouch, her oldest son, and two daughters, Artemis and Cassandra. She was a strict but generous mother, but unfortunately she passed on before she even met any of her grandchildren, dying of dragon pox at the age of 54.

Biography: Elladora Black was born in 1850 to Cygnus Black I and his wife Ella Max. She had three siblings — Sirius Black I, Phineas Nigellus, and Isla. She was three years old when her eldest brother, Sirius, died, and later she lost her sister as well when Isla was disowned from the family.
Elladora attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was Sorted into Slytherin House where her cunningness was allowed to grow and mature. After Hogwarts, she spent her time making sure the family lived up to her expectations. She also instituted the policy of cutting off the heads of the family house-elves and mounting them on the wall once they became too old to carry a tea tray.
She died at age 81 and was survived by a mass of nieces and nephews. She never married or had children of her own. (Later, however, her great niece Callidora would bear a striking resemblance to her.)
