Details: Every summer we have new fashion trends but do you like them? What would you change?
And do you think the Harry Potter characters would wear them?

So let's have a little debate. It's about fashion and I know that I love to talk about what models have been wearing on the runway (and well, when watching Germany's next topmodel I also laugh about the "models")
Anyways, like every summer there are some must-wears - at least that's what Fashion magazines tell us. But what do you think about these must-wears? Do you like them? Hate them? And would Hermione, Ron, Draco or Snape wear them? I googled some of the trends and posted the pictures so you have an idea what to talk about.

The 90s nostalgia picture is... Well, if that's 90s nostalgia then please god no. 90s nostalgia makes me think of grunge, of oversized coats, short-sleeved tshirts layered over long-sleeved shirts, DM boots, leggings and large oversized tops... It's the clothes I'm comfortable in, so I don't know about necessarily being fashionable or on trend, but 90s nostalgia is probably an umbrella term for half of my daily wardrobe.

I like the Sexy Sixties trend, it's cute and sweet and flirty. I wonder whether Ginny might not wear the trend for date night. I can see this being the kind of trend that Lavender Brown, the Patils etc might giggle over in the fashion magazines.

Luna would probably wear Get Graphic, especially if it was recommended that bright patterns scare away certain scary (and possibly fictitious) creatures.

As for the guys: Cropped trousers, not a personal fave of mine, and I can only see Ron Weasley getting into this trend because he outgrew the family hand-me-downs. Grey on Grey, perhaps Lupin ♥ Belted coats, maybe Snape, Lucius... Basically any classy gentleman.

Ohhh, I can see Luna with Get Graphic. I feel like Ginny maybe would look really good in Sexy Sixties, but IDK that she'd naturally seek it out? I can see it being something that maybe Fleur might take to wearing, thinking now of the other HP characters in the series...

I love your reasoning for Ron and cropped trousers, lol.

I feel like 90s nostalgia should not at all be a thing (and not just because we're not that far out of the 90s for it to even be a thing), but like you said, some of those things you mentioned are still in my wardrobe.

lol at Ron and the cropped trousers. That's hilarious and I can totally see that!
