Details: Every summer we have new fashion trends but do you like them? What would you change?
And do you think the Harry Potter characters would wear them?

So let's have a little debate. It's about fashion and I know that I love to talk about what models have been wearing on the runway (and well, when watching Germany's next topmodel I also laugh about the "models")
Anyways, like every summer there are some must-wears - at least that's what Fashion magazines tell us. But what do you think about these must-wears? Do you like them? Hate them? And would Hermione, Ron, Draco or Snape wear them? I googled some of the trends and posted the pictures so you have an idea what to talk about.

Get graphic….I think graphic prints look really cool. On the right person. You need a certain look and attitude to pull off something like that and I know I just don’t have that. My style tends toward the casual preppy. I could see Luna rocking the fuck out of something like that though.

Good god can scrunchies PLEASE not make a comeback. I feel the same way about this that I did about the recent 80s revival. It COULD be cute, but then there are also a lot of trends that should just stay dead (…..like I used to own a pair of black velour overalls in the 90s. If shit like that comes back into style I just will lose my ability to can)

Another one in the “takes the right person” category is the cropped pants. On most people they would just look ill fitting and like you just got out of a flood or something. I’m so here for the belted coat and 60s trends! So cute

Hehehe, I love scrunchies! But because they hold my thick-ass hair nice and tight! But I can agree with most of your comment. Graphics look good on the right people, as do cropped pants.

LOL, you know, it's probably because of that reason then ;)

Oh wow, Lavender would rock that scrunchie so hard, lmfao.

I see what you mean. If I really like a print, I wouldn't ask myself twice about it, but I know some people like to wear only a few colours -- it always puzzles me because I just like SO MANY THINGS and I always wonder if people don't like the things or don't think it fits them. But a friend of mine admitted recently that her family had offered her a bright red coat, and she LOVED IT ; apparently it was a dream of hers! She only ever wears black, dark red, green or blue, quite neutral tones. So I was surprised to see her with a red coat. She said she never would have dared to buy it herself, which I thought was adorable :)

LOL black velours overalls? That's something :')

Totally agree about Luna rocking the graphic looks! You need a certain confidence to wear that kind of stuff!

I feel you on the scrunchies. Though, I must admit, I still love jellies (the shoes). I'd have no problem with those coming back. There are some 90's trends that could be cute if they came back, but for the most part I think we should look ahead, not backwards :P Maybe mix in some 90's influence, but not an entire outfit that looks like you just got off a time machine from 1995.

I definitely think that Luna would rock the graphic prints, but then again I think Tonks could, too. Just like I can see Tonks in the 90's look and really rocking it. Luna and Tonks could rock just about anything, though, because I think half of style is your personality and how it meshes with it. Some people dress in the 90's look and come off really douchey, but others dress in the 90's look and it just adds to their fun, quirky personality.
