Activity: Genre Stamping
Points: 10pts for submitting an app, 2pts each per vote, 30pt cap.
Deadline: Tuesday, January 15th @ 21:59 UTC (timezone converter).
Details: Another stamping activity! This time we're doing music genre stamping; you all know how stamping works and this is just the same game as always; fill out an application, stamp and get stamped. You'll receive ten points for filling out the app (which means I do want you to put effort in this!) and two points for each vote with a cap of 30 points. Don't forget to sign your votes with your name&house!
Note: Always remember that this is just for fun. I'm sure that there is no one planning to insult anyone with stamping, so... Yeah, let's just try and have fun and don't take it all too seriously! ♥
Note 2: Please please please try to go and stamp other applications, especially if you have an application up yourself. It's just fair and I'd like to give people their stamps without feeling bad for so little votes at the end of this activity! ♥

List your top three positive and negative traits:
Positive
~ Intelligence. I'm rational and logical and am fairly good at evaluating things.
~ Empathy. I find that I often put myself in the place of others. For example, I have a “blush squick”. I cannot handle watching people be embarrassed in movies/on television shows. Because I put myself in their position and I feel horridly uncomfortable for them.
~ Hard working. I am one of those people who focuses on what needs to be done and does it. In fact, I often take on too much to do.
Negative
~ Intelligence. This is a double edged sword. One of the critiques I used to get a lot in evaluations at work was that I expected people to be smart and when they didn't hold to my high standards I got frustrated. (My sister has many a horror story of me attempting to help her with math when we were younger and both of us getting so frustrated we wanted to kill each other!) I've learned to temper it, but it is still there.
~ Perfectionism. I have control issues. I have a hard time delegating things because I feel they won't be done exactly as I want them to be done. It also makes me frustrated at times when doing things. Such as when I make graphics and what is on the screen just won't quite match the image I have in my head. And all the tweaking in the world cannot get it exactly right.
~ Insecurity/self-doubt. At the same time, I worry that what I've done, no matter how hard I've worked on it/how perfect I feel I've made it, won't be enough. I hate being judged because I eternally feel that I will come up lacking. I'm often really shy in a group of people I know, but don't know so well, because I'm worried they won't like me/want to talk to me, or that I'll say the wrong thing.
An evil fairy pops up and curses you as a punishment for not inviting her to dinner; from now on you'll only be allowed to listen to one single genre of music for the rest of your life - which one is it? Classical. As there is so much variety to it that I don't think I'd get bored with it, despite being limited to just that genre.
Why exactly didn't you invite the fairy to dinner? I don't like mean/intolerant people/fairies.
If you would achieve one thing in your life, may it be for you, may it be for the rest of the world, what would it be? I would love to know that the kids I'm teaching are more tolerant/accepting and compassionate and that they love to learn because of my influence in their lives. And then I'd love for them to pass that on to others.
You're throwing a theme party; what is the theme you choose? I'm not good with themes. Maybe a "dress as your favorite character" theme party? As I have a lot of favorite characters from books, television, movies, etc.
Do you have a favourite composer? Not really? I have a handful I like. And I more tend to like particular songs. Eine Kleine Nachtmusik by Mozart is one of those songs, as is Vivaldi's Four Seasons. So, maybe Mozart? Or Vivaldi?
Is there any music that you cannot stand at all? I'm not a fan of rap. I can appreciate the artistry that goes into it. And as poetry, I also appreciate some of it. But I need for my music to have a melody. And I don't care for some of the hatred, misogyny, violence, etc. that I have heard in some of it.
Anything else you'd like to say? Nope! :)
