Activity: Guess the Era
Points: Participation Only: 10 points (1pt per correct guess, earn at least 5pts for bonus points!)
Deadline: Submit your entries by Thursday, September 29th @ 23:59 UTC (timezone converter).
Details: Below you will find ten Classical music examples of different eras (e.g. Baroque, Renaissance,...). Guess which piece belongs to which era. You will receive one point per correct guess

9. "Jupiter Symphony" (4th Movement: Molto Allegro); Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
10. "Violin Concerto No.1"; Karol Szymanowski

Medieval (5th-15th Century)
Renaissance (1400-1600)
Baroque (1600-1760)
Viennesse Classic (1750-1830)
Romantic Period (1815-1910)
Impressionism (1890-1920)
Expressionism (1910-1950)
Modernism (1890-1930)
Postmodernism (starting 1930s)
Minimalism (starting 1960s)
Important! Please note that these dates are only guidelines! Of course all those periods had a rather smooth transition and the composition style didn't change drastically within a year or two, it all was a rather slow developing process. I tried to make the examples rather clear and obvious for the periods, though :)
