Details: Runes have many symbolic meanings. Your challenge is to create a new spell inspired by runes!

1. Rune(s) and meaning(s): isa. It represents inactivity and rest, a period of rest before activites.
Spell: The spell would be used when you're tired, but you don't have time to rest over a longer period of time. If you're, for example, studying for exams, you can use the spell, which will take only a few minutes to force your body to rest and restore so that you're good to go in a flash.

2. Rune(s) and meaning(s): Eihwaz, they yew tree, strength, reliability, dependability, trustworthiness. The driving force to acquire, providing motivation and a sense of purpose. Indicates that you have set your sights on a reasonable target and can achieve your goals.
Spell: Lusingo L'Albero (Loo-sin-yo Lal-bear-oh). It's Italian and means "I trust the tree." Kind of silly, I know. To work the spell you must trace the rune shape in the air- it's sort of like a zigzag. You would use it in a situation where a person or people are trying to persuade you to do different things, and you're not sure if you can trust this person, or if it's multiple people you don't know who to trust. It can tell you who is lying to you, whose advice to take or who to listen to. Your wand will automatically point in the direction of who is trustworthy and who you can rely on and who will help you reach your goals. Because the spell reads what is in a person's thoughts and things like that, you must be a relatively advanced Witch/Wizard to perform it. If you are not are not magically advanced then the spell may guide you wrongly or may take longer to decide.
I like to think of it as kind of a "point me" spell, but with people, which is why it is more advanced.

3. Rune(s) and meaning(s): Algiz; "(Z or -R: Elk, protection.)" they mean protection, to protect and shelter someone and others.
Spell: My spell would protect the people it's applied on. Not like the usual protection charms, that protect you only in a certain space. My spell would protect you everywhere you go. You could go freely and nothing would be able to harm you. It could only be applied on other people and not on oneselves, though.

4. Rune(s) and meaning(s): algiz (protection) and oþila (property)
Spell: It would be a spell to protect things from being stolen. To cast it, you'd say "oþilalgiz", and whatever you were protecting would burn anyone who touched it except you.

5. Rune(s) and meaning(s): ISA: Ice, Stagnation, Standstill, Reaffirmation, Patience, Hidden Danger, Withdrawal, Reflection, Clarity
Spell: It's called 'Freeze!' and it turns objects into ice

6. Rune(s) and meaning(s): ehwaz : horse // aides in communication
Spell: Casting this spell will allow the person it's cast upon to perfectly understand the point of view of the person who casts the spell. The spell usually lasts for about 30 seconds, but a very powerful wizard could make it last up to 5 minutes before needing to cast it again. The spell is most often used during arguments with loved ones.

7. Rune(s) and meaning(s):Kenaz: (K: Beacon or torch.) Vision, revelation, knowledge, creativity, inspiration, technical ability. Vital fire of life, harnessed power, fire of transformation and regeneration. Power to create your own reality, the power of light. Open to new strength, energy, and power now. Passion, sexual love.
Spell: I would create a spell called Dream Visions which would allow the caster to see into other people's dreams, so they could gain more knowledge about that person.

8. Rune(s) and meaning(s):
Ansuz: power, leadership, balance/harmony, wisdom
Kenaz: revelations, breakthroughs, solutions, inspiration
Wunjo: success, victory, prosperity, contentment
Spell: Would send a surge of self-confidence through the caster. They would feel successful and powerful, like they could do anything. Used when facing a tough situation and need a bit of help to pull through on top.

9. Rune(s) and meaning(s):RAIDO
“Rye-though”
Meanings: Chariot, Travel, Journey, Reunion, Change of Location, Broadening of Horizons, New Experiences, Destiny, Stagnation, A need for Change.
Spell: The spell would be "Journeo" and it would be similar to apparition except it would take you into the past of your choice for five minutes before returning you to the same spot.

10. Rune(s) and meaning(s): Kenaz, which means "torch"
Spell: The spell is called Kendle. You cast it on yourself and it gives you insight into a problem which is meant to help you get over writer's block or other mental barriers. Once you get an idea based on this insight, the spell causes a glowing torch to appear above your head.

11. Rune(s) and meaning(s): uruz [energy/sexuality], kenaz [wisdom/creativity]
Spell: Satisfier: combining wisdom and sexuality, this spell - when cast on someone - reveals exactly how to please them in bed. Or you can cast it on yourself to learn what *your* true turn-ons are...

12. Rune(s) and meaning(s): Ansuz (Odin), used for wise decisions, success, leadership and to help in divination and magic, and Kenaz (torch): for creative inspiration, aid in study, fertility, dispelling anxiety and fear - it's divinatory meaings also include wisdom, insight and problem solving.
Spell: This spell is for good government - the incantation used with the runes is legas veritas. It helps the user to choose the best possible solution to a problem involving politics - politicians/Wizengamot members may use it to help indicate the best wording for a law, or whether or not to vote for something, and everyday users may use it to help choose the best candidate to vote for or whether or not to sign a petition.

13. Rune(s) and meaning(s): JERA "yare-awe"
Meanings: Harvest, Seasons, A Year, Fruition, A Time of Plenty, Profit, Reward, Cause and Effect, Development, Cycle of Life, Positive Change, Progress, Justice.
Spell: Fertilitaslio! which is a spell designed to heighten fertility. Often results in multiple children. May be how the Weasley came to be such a plentiful family.

14. Rune(s) and meaning(s): Othala (ancestral property)
Spell: The spell is called "binding oath" and it's used on valuable items belonging to a family. After the spell is cast on an item, only people who share a blood tie with the caster can touch the item, ensuring that it stays within the family. If someone else tries to take the item, it disappears and reappears a few feet away.

15. Rune(s) and meaning(s): Ansuz; Meanings: Power, Leadership, Seeking Balance and Harmony, an Important Message, Wisdom, Vanity.
Spell: Since Ansuz is associated with ‘wisdom’ and ‘insight’ and ‘inspiration’ I think I would create a spell that would help give inspirations to people who needed inspiration for essays or for works of fiction. I’d call it…Inspiro! :D

16. Rune(s) and meaning(s):Berkano. Mainly a fertility symbol. Can also be used for personal growth or new ventures. I would use it in it's original meaning of fertility and birth. The power to create new life.
Spell: Create Novitatem. The spell would allow infertile and same-sex couples to have children.

17. Rune(s) and meaning(s): Isa, it means inactivity.
Spell: Insomnomoro. When a person can't sleep, if they cast this spell it will instantly make them drowsy and will eventually put them to sleep.

18. Rune(s) and meaning(s): KENAZ Meanings: Torch, Light, Revelations, Breakthroughs, Wisdom, Solutions, Inspiration, Creativity, An Opening Up, Enlightenment.
Spell: Inspirationem - Gives inspiration to the castor

19. Rune(s) and meaning(s): raiðo = journey, and algiz = protection
Spell: "Raigiz" it would offer protection from weather and other environmental hazards when someone is traveling.

20. Rune(s) and meaning(s): Uruz which means “Auroch”, Hunter, Strength, Willfulness, Passion, Intensity, Achievement, Sexuality, Masculinity, Rite of passage, Endings and new Beginnings, Mortality.
Spell: Vigor Mentula is popular with wizards of all ages, for it uses the rune Uruz to increase the size of the male genitalia. Uruz represents masculine sexuality and "aurochs" which were massive, longhorn oxen (if you know what I mean). It didn't take long for wizards to realize the excellent use of this rune.

21. Rune(s) and meaning(s): Tyr; duty, discipline, responsibility, self-sacrifice, conflict, strength, a wound, physicality, the warrior path
Spell: Willpowtyr! This is a self-casting spell, meaning one can only cast it on himself/herself. When a witch or wizard casts this spell upon himself/herself they are able to focus solely on one task with great precision.

22. Rune(s) and meaning(s):

algiz : protection
Spell: This spell is called Armament, when cast it will be used to protect the caster against unwanted advances. See the girl coming you don't want to talk to, use the Armament spell and she will walk right on by. There a guy who keeps stalking you, use this spell and he will suddenly move on.

23. Rune(s) and meaning(s): Kenaz (torch: wisdom, insight, creativity, inspiration) + Wunjo (glory: success, joy, bliss, achievement of goals, contentment)
Spell: Prudens Glorificus (wise & full of glory) is a spell that will aid any student. It works somewhat like Felix Felicis; it doesn't directly affect the outcome, but it will guide the user/caster to an epiphany. Banned during examinations, of course.

24. Rune(s) and meaning(s): Ansuz is a rune which means signal, communication, speech, true vision. Ansuz reversed means misunderstanding, delusion.
Spell: Based on this rune, I would create a spell that reveals all coded messages, riddles and translates into the caster's language. For example, with this spell, the trio would have been able to find out the meaning of the writing on the snitch straight away.
But if not cast correctly, this spell will give a wrong interpretation of the message.

25. Rune(s) and meaning(s): Uruz - Physical strength and speed, untamed potential. A time of great energy and health. Freedom, energy, action, courage, strength, tenacity, understanding, wisdom.
Spell: Uurrz - grants one increased speed and strength for a short period of time; useful for completing otherwise unattainable tasks. Leaves the subject rather exhausted, after, so it should only be used sparingly.

26. Rune(s) and meaning(s): Kenaz.
Meanings: Torch, Light, Revelations, Breakthroughs, Wisdom, Solutions, Inspiration, Creativity, An Opening Up, Enlightenment.
Spell: Solutio! This spell helps you solve any and all arithmancy problems. Stuck on an equation? Solutio will help you with a breakthrough and inspiration.

27. Rune(s) and meaning(s): Wunjo, success, reward, prosperity
Spell: The spell "Winning" creates a one time opportunity for a person to be successful or "win at life".

28. Rune(s) and meaning(s): ISA: Ice, Stagnation, Standstill, Reaffirmation, Patience, Hidden Danger, Withdrawal, Reflection, Clarity.
Spell: Consto! It will allow the caster to freeze time for 30 seconds.

29. Rune(s) and meaning(s): ehwaz - "horse" & raidho - "travel"
Spell: Equitandum - Blending the powers of ehwaz & raidho to create a teleport disc. For those who never learn to manage apparition!

30. Rune(s) and meaning(s): Purisaz//painful event, introspection, knowledge
Spell: This spell, called "Show Me the Meaning," allows you to take a painful situation in your life and see the good in it and/or the meaning behind it. It helps you come to terms with something that is difficult to get past.

31. Rune(s) and meaning(s): hagalaz:hail
Spell: Secondary meaning for this rune include "destruction" and "clearance". The spell "hagalazio!" would remove a barrier from in front of you.

32. Rune(s) and meaning(s): Sowulo, literally meaning sun. Associated with success, positive energy, increase, power, activity, fertility, health.
Spell: This spell would grant instant warmth to whoever uses it, helpful when stranded out in the tundra, or even just on a particularly cold winter night with a faulty heater! It would also help those sick with fever and shivering.

33. Rune(s) and meaning(s): ðagaz : day
meaning: happiness, success, activity, a fulfilling lifestyle, satisfaction
Spell: If you or your friends are having a bad day, this spell could change it to the better. It will make you feel positive, optimistic, and a bit naive.

34. Rune(s) and meaning(s): inguz : Ing/work, productivity, bounty, groundedness, balance, connection with the land
Spell: The spell based on this rune would help one to accomplish a long list of tasks without becoming distracted.
