Entry #1:
“Al, guess what?”

“What?” He replied without really listening to his little sister.

“I’m going to restart Dumbeldore’s Army!”

“That’s nice, Lily.”

“AL!”

“Ouch, what did I tell you about hitting me with my Transfiguration textbook!”

He ripped the heavy book from her grasp, but she didn’t even appear apologetic.

“I said , I’m going to restart Dumbledore’s Army!”

Albus rolled his eyes, “There’s no reason to restart the DA. It was originally began to train the students in Defense Against Dark Arts because the Ministry had made Dolores Umbridge professor of DADA and weren’t allowing the students to learn the spells because Cornelius Fudge, the Minister of Magic at the time, thought that Dumbledore was creating an army.”

Lily, used to her brother sprouting off history lessons, just waited until he paused to take breath.

“What’s your point?”

Albus sighed, “Dumbledore’s dead, Lily.”

Lily stood, chin high, “Dad said that he’ll only really be gone as long as no one here is loyal to him. I’m restarting it. Now you can join it or you can prove James right.”

“James joined?”

“Of course. And he said you’d be too chicken to join.”

“Why would I be chicken? It’s not like we’ll be fighting anyone. Dad already took out Voldemort.”

Lily stared at her brother and Albus met her eyes for a long few seconds before dropping his eyes.

“Fine, I’ll join, but I still think it’s pointless.”

Fifth-year Gryffindor James Potter was bored. He had already managed to replicate every single one of his namesake's pranks, but needed to move on from the pranks of his late grandpa to the exploits of his dad. At the same time, due to the retirement of the current DADA teacher, Petunia Umbridge (a cousin of the infamous Delores) was appointed to fill the spot, and James was about to discover that Petunia was an even worse teacher than her cousin had been!

So James wrote to his dad, who immediately regaled him with stories of Dumbledore's Army. In record time, James managed to round up twenty students who were willing to learn on their own (and get away with pranking Professor Umbridge). Even his Slytherin brother Albus, who normally would never have anything to do with James or Gryffindor, was more than willing to join this cause!

James Sirius Potter stood proudly between his younger brother and Scorpius Malfoy. They were starting up Dumbledore’s Army again – an idea that sprang from looking through old memories they’d found stored in a pensive in the attic during the Christmas break. James had planned almost everything while Albus handled the important things like not getting caught and replicating the coins their parents had used, and Scorpius’ job was to get the ‘good’ Slytherin students to join. They were standing in the Room of Requirement, which they’d found with the help of the Marauders' Map they’d nicked from their father’s office. The students filed in, smiling and waving across the room at James, Albus, and Scorpius while the disillusionment charm Albus had set around the place worked it’s magic at keeping the teachers away.

Teddy Lupin inherited many things from his mother (may she rest in peace), including a brilliant shock of chameleon hair, but also a raging sense of hyper adventure-ism.

Hence, the creation of DA. Not Dumbledore's Army, though, the time had passed for such student rebellion.

DA. Das Auto.

You see, Teddy Lupin, having been brought up by members of the Weasley family as well as Harry Potter, had been exposed to one Arthur Weasley. Like Merlin to pants, Teddy practically thrived in the glee of tinkering with magic and Muggle oil carriages and whatnot, to the frustration of all the Weasley females (i.e. Ginny, Hermione, Victoire, Fleur and Molly).

Ford Anglias were the DA's specialty. Blue ones especially.

"A Muggle car," Teddy always says to his proteges, "is a horrible mechanic animal. It farts and burps infinite amounts of black soot. We at the DA not only aim to fix that stupid thing, but also attempt to make it fly. We aim to make it... Das Auto."

Dear Diary,
Today Al and I found out about a secret society that our parents were in when they went to Hogwarts. It was called Dumbledore’s Army. We believe we should revive it again because it will help us when we graduate school and prepare us for the upcoming war. Al decided to put up signs up today about DA’s first meeting. I am very excited about this but I hope a lot of people show up. So far, I know that James and Scorpius are coming and that’s it. I believe we can succeed and we will be able to help the Aurors to defeat the Death Eaters. I hope this works!

Rose stumbled down the corridor in search of the tapestry with the ballet dancing trolls. The DA didn't need to practice in secret anymore, but James had made sure that the tradition of using the Room of Requirement as a meeting place hadn't died. She found the beautiful oak door and tugged on the handle. It opened obligingly and she found herself in a rather small room with a beautiful rug on the floor and a nice fire roaring in the fireplace. She looked around and saw no one, so settled herself down on one of the multicolored cushions that were lining the far wall. She waited for so long that she fell asleep and woke up to the sound of the door creaking open. James slid in and walked over to her.
"Sorry. I got a last minute detention."
Rose scowled at him. "I wouldn't have come if I knew you were just going to leave me here."
But she could not stay mad at him, as he had just come down and kissed her swiftly on the mouth. She started, and then decided that she was very comfortable indeed, and would rather stay here than spend the night alone and pretending to be angry.
