Lily Evans is an Apple Tree. Apples are sweet, like she generally is, unless incensed by people (i.e. James Potter), whereby the hint of tartness in apples comes in--she won't be messed around with! She's flexible, known as a talented student, juggling Head Girl duties and her studies (and being a member of the Slug Club, lol), like how apples can be made into a variety of foods (e.g. apple cider, apple pie,...).

Lastly, she's a redhead, as (most) apples are!

I love this connection! I wouldn't have thought of it myself, but I totally love it. I totally agree. Now I have this image of Snape holding an apple. Where's a fanartist when you need one!

Your comment is so made of win &heart;

No one can resist a tasty looking apple, amiright, and definitely not Snape.

Also to note: the color of apple flowers is pink; and pink can be associated with warmth and love, which is what Lily provided for Harry: comfort while encouraging motion and an outward orientation.

Nice comparaison! Also, apples protect their seeds with their own bodies (the flesh of the apple protects the seeds) just like Lily protected Harry!

Nice comparison. She is probably a type of green apple to match her eyes. The green apples are also the tarter ones.

This is sooo creative! :D I can totally see Lily as an apple because of her personality! I would of never thought of that!

Great choice!

On top of this since apples are known to be given to teachers, this is something even better for her. Since there are many kind of apples, it goes to show how she can be so many different things - all while being herself.
