Date: 2010-07-12 12:55 am (UTC)Core: dragon heartstring
Length: 9 3/4 inches
Firmness: Rather supple
The dragon hearstring gives me a lot of power, which is good for strong jinxes/curses or protective spells. The suppleness of my wand ensures that I can quickly jump from one spell to another, or from one opponent to another if in a duel with more than one person. The length is rather medium - that way, I don't feel like my wand is going to be whipping around everywhere and it also won't feel like I have to grasp all of it to have a good grasp. Dogwood for me represents beauty and resilience. Resilience would help in a duel, as I would be fighting fiercely and not giving up. The beauty of the dogwood tree could also help me in casting charms and protective spells for my other friendly dueling partners.
