One
It was a wet and windy Halloween,
While James played with his son Harry,
Smoky colours casting a happy scene.
But then things shifted and turned scary:
The door burst inward, upon its framing,
Deep into the one time hidden quarter.
James ran forward, his hand tried aiming
But he found his wand arm to be shorter.
His wand he’d left upon the sofa seat,
And now armless against his greatest foe.
But instead of running, his fate he’d meet,
So to safety his wife and child could go.
And it was with a flash of green so violent
That the father crumbled and all was silent.

Albus opened his blue eyes
And the monsters let out a single growl.
The scream pierced the sky
Turning every star into a black hole.
Ariana’s ghost stood by his side,
While Gellert stood in front,
Beautiful as ever, wand in hand
And Albus acknowledged their fate with a nod.
The greatest duel of all time,
Every book and diary wrote.
But no one told about a broken heart
Nor about a lost and never meant-to-be-love.

Her name was Lily and she thought him a fool
His was James and he loved her with all his heart
No one would know that they were just a tool
That their soon to be love would play History's part
For when their eyes met it was so much more than fate
It was decided long ago, a message from above
Nothing could keep them apart, not even Lily's hate
And so unsurprisingly, Voldemort's downfall stemmed from love

As a new dawn arose
wizards celebrated the end
of the evil man's dispose
and a new world to mend.
There was no difference between
normal and magical
that could be seen
and an end not tragical.
The only wrong thing
was the boy left alone
to him the phoenix would not sing
but would not be left unknown.
Soon the world would see
who he will turn to be.

The eyes of wizardkind looked not away,
When Dumbledore and Grindelwald did fight.
For mastery and dominance that day
They strove, while watchers trembled at the sight.
Two former friends, now turned to deadly foes,
They fought to shape the fate of wizardkind;
And how they could endure it, no one knows,
As once they held the same ideals in mind.
Their wands they swished, and countless spells they cast;
The duel was such that none had seen before,
Though one did claim the victory at last:
Not Grindelwald, but mighty Dumbledore.
Thus wizards, witches, let us with one voice
All praise the skill of Dumbledore: Rejoice!

there was once a boy called harry potter
upon poor harry's forehead was an awful mark
and peeves thought he was an absolute rotter
here he comes now, harry potter, hark!
he knew that off to face voldemort he must totter
terrified, though he had often fought the dark
so off he went without the ministry's imprimatur
and gone was the dark and gone was the mark

A gorgeous woman dressed in blue
Was really jealous of her mother.
Back when Hogwarts was brand-new,
She hated being called "the other".
So she stole Rowena's crown
While her mom looked the other way
She then took off straight out of town
Keeping her old life far away.
Because her mom missed her daughter
She sent out an old flame.
Although her intention was not slaughter
That was the final game!
And that's how the Grey Lady, the woman I like most
Turned into the infamous Ravenclaw House Ghost!

Hermione found herself alone
Knowing not where she lay
Or how to get herself home
It was dark and hardly not day
With a look around, she stood
Bangs and shouts all around
In her hands a line of wood
Hermione would not be found.

Voldy stared at Harry that fateful day
and asked if he was ready to die
Without a response he went "Oh my~"
And picked up his wand to slay.
Harry just kinda stared
As he stood in place
Just gazing Voldy in the face
Trying to appear as he didn't care.
Then shit got really weird
As they ended up in King's Cross
And voldy was no longer boss
But as a babby he appeared.
