Everybody ready for the first contest at the Herbology??
Continuing on the tradition of the previous club leader
esso, this contest will be a Herbfind. It will be the 11th one in the club's history. You are to identify the plant with its common name.
Very quickly, let's review the rules...
1. All comments will be screened.
2. DON'T FORGET YOUR HOUSE!! You can put it in the subject line, at the end of your comment, or in a sigtag
3. All participants who get the correct answer will receive 10 points.
4. Contest ends on Friday, January 20th at 11:00 PM PST (so 2:00 AM EST). Shortly after the contest ends the answer will be posted along with a list of all members who will be receiving points.
Remember, since there is only participation points in this contest, getting the correct answer is far more important than being the first to answer.

Herbfind: Garlic
Date: 2006-01-16 04:53 pm (UTC)Much of its miraculous health benefits have been overstated. Many people are allergic and don't even know it, (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=garlic+allergy&btnG=Google+Search)much like a wheat allergy.
...My eyes are watering and I'm starting to itch, may I be excused for the rest of the class?
