Dueling Club update

All those who wouls like to join The Dueling Club may do so here. As of this time we only have six members!

For those who have joined, the first contest will be posted on March 25 or 26 (depending on my schedule) so watch for it. Later in the week I will also begin posting information (spells, charms, and such) that you may need for future duels. Rules and Regualtions for the duels will be posted at least one week prior to the duel as well as a sign up sheet for partcipation! (Date of the first Duel is to be determined, again, I have to take a look at my schedule).

There will also be a list of members posted with in a week or two.

DA Application

YES...finally the long awaited DA application is here.  There are a few things i want you to take into consideration.  There will be a limit of 10 members from each house, if 10 can not be found, then we will have to shorten the amount, but don't be discouraged...each month 2 new members will be inducted each month.  Also, participation is mandatory to atleast two meetings a month (on LJ in this community), there will be two held a every two weeks, so you have 4 chances to show up.  You will have one pass every two months for legitimate reasons why you can't show up to a meeting.  There will also be 2 contests a month and you must participate in one.  If you do not your place will be given to another person.  With all that said, the application is:

Now for the info on the club :)  As stated there will be 4 meetings a month (one for specifc timezones every two weeks), what will go on in those i have yet to figure out, but that will come along at the first one I suspect which i hope to start the third week of April if not sooner.  The contests will vary but I want to have atleast one a month be a potion or spell from the book which would translate into the real world and have one, that's be you, write a short essay on how you could use it and make it.  If it's a spell, list what it does and it's counterspell, if there is one.  That's just the basics.  I hope to learn from y'all as to what you wish to learn and we can go from there.  The new members will be posted in a week or two depending on the amount off applications i recieve.  Thank you for your interest!
