Details: We're going to play Name That Movie! The rules are the same as always - submit a tiny (preferably cryptic) summary of a movie and let others guess the name. (e.g. "Ex-prisoner becomes mayor of French town and adopts a girl" ---> Les Misérables) There's a twist though - you're only allowed to use music movies; these can be musicals or operas made adaptations (e.g. Les Mis or Sweeney Todd), but also movies that generally involve music as a main topic. (Disney movies count!)

You are allowed to submit fifteen summaries or guess fifteen titles to receive full points, but I'd rather see you mix and match; that makes it more fun after all! Also, don't forget to tell your fellow players whether they guessed correctly!

Activity: Genre Stamping
Points: 10pts for submitting an app, 2pts each per vote, 30pt cap.
Deadline: Tuesday, January 15th @ 21:59 UTC (timezone converter).
Details: Another stamping activity! This time we're doing music genre stamping; you all know how stamping works and this is just the same game as always; fill out an application, stamp and get stamped. You'll receive ten points for filling out the app (which means I do want you to put effort in this!) and two points for each vote with a cap of 30 points. Don't forget to sign your votes with your name&house!

Note: Always remember that this is just for fun. I'm sure that there is no one planning to insult anyone with stamping, so... Yeah, let's just try and have fun and don't take it all too seriously! ♥

Note 2: Please please please try to go and stamp other applications, especially if you have an application up yourself. It's just fair and I'd like to give people their stamps without feeling bad for so little votes at the end of this activity! ♥

Details: Make 15 music-related icons; they can be anything - stock icons, icons of musicians, or whatever comes to your mind, as long as they're freshly made for this activity. You'll receive 2 points per icon (so they don't have to be super fancy, but show that you've put some effort in them and didn't just slap a picture into a 100x100 canvas), with a maximum of 30 points. You can either post them along while you make them, or submit all 15 in one comment.

Record a video/sound file of you either singing and/or playing a song/musical piece or post old videos of yours (you need to have never posted them for a points(!) activity here in HiH before but may have for social posts) to brag! If you cannot or don't want to record yourself, we'll go all Order Karaoke style: Write a little "review" essay of at least 75 words as reply to one of the videos/tracks, recommending new pieces to play/sing!

Activity: Composer Jigsaws
Points: Participation only: 10pts
Deadline: Submit your party by Thursday, November 15th @ 22:59 UTC. (timezone converter)
Details: Behind the cut, you will find four links to jigsaws; an easy, a medium, a hard and a "devious" one; for full ten points, complete the three puzzles (easy to hard) - you will receive two points for the easy one, three for solving the medium puzzle and five for the hard one; once you've earned five points you'll also receive bonus points in case you own the robes.

There is also an optional devious puzzle, which is the hardest of all three - you won't get any points for completing it, but a special surprise! (The smae counts for guessing the composers' names; highly optional but recommended since there'll be a reward waiting!)

Hey bbs! Just reminding you that you can still create the best Halloween Party ever over here. I have quite a few submissions so far, but Hogsmeade seemed to drown participation a bit and I am sure that I can get a lot more! If you'd still like to participate, you can do so for a few more days - until Halloween, Wednesday, October 31st @ 22:59 UTC.

Also, remember that due to the rule change about rosters, there is no longer a need to sign! In case you'd like to get bonus points, however, have a quick peek if you're on it! :)
