Why hello there, everyone! I hope you're having a fantastic day. We've got some hilarious entries for our Family Secrets Activity so now it's time to let us know which ones you love the best!

These letters all reveal some juicy family secrets:

Entry 1
Dearest Percy,
This is Charmed for only your eyes so you needn't burn it. Percy, you are so responsible and mature that your father and I have decided to share a bit of information with you as well as ask for your assistance. There's no gentle way to say this but there is vampire blood in our line. For obvious reasons, we have not shared this with your younger brothers. The blood is more likely to show itself in female offspring, which is why we always used a Charm to try and insure we'd have boys. As you know, dear Ginny is at an age to show symptoms of change. Please keep an eye on her this first year and if she acts strangely, please question her and give her the occasional Pepperup Potion. Owl us if you need.

Andromeda!
I cannot BELIEVE you told Molly Weasley of all people about my youthful affair with Xenophilius Lovegood. I never truly thought you a blood traitor until now. It may have been a passing fancy--my childish attempt to rebel against our parents by dating the son of the most eccentric purebloods in Britain, but this is more than just idle gossip! What do you think will happen when word gets out, if someone like Rita Skeeter gets wind of this! Do you really think its coincidence that I married Lucius so quickly after graduation? Did you think I just had a thing for platinum blondes? You're a clever woman, clearly you've put two and two together by now! I needed a quick and respectable marriage to a man who could pass for the father of my child. Do you know how unusual that hair color is? It was a gift from Merlin that Lucius was so taken with me and never bothered to read a calendar. But now your inability to keep other people's business to yourself threatens to ruin everything I've worked my whole life for. This could destroy our entire family. How do you think Draco would react to knowing that he is not actually a Malfoy, but a Lovegood? The loss of the inheritance alone would kill him! So for Salazar's sake, Andromeda, I implore you, tell no one else! And don't forget, we were close once. I know more than one thing about you and your precious Ted (rest his soul) that I don't think you'd fancy getting out. I'm warning you Andromeda...Bellatrix is not the only one of the Black sisters capable of casting an Unforgiveable or two.

Ronald Weasley,

How DARE you joke with Harry like that, about me secretly being a boy? It's not funny, Ron! Mum would be so upset if she heard you; you know no one really got over Vinegra's death. I know you probably didn't think about it, but it was really hurtful to me when you drew that picture of me as a boy--not because I'm self-conscious (Harry seems to think I'm girlish enough!), but because I imagine it's what my twin brother Vinny would look like if he hadn't died when we were born. I know our family decided to keep his death, and even his existence, a family secret, but I can't let your actions today go without reprimanding. Stop being such an inconsiderate dolt!

From Ginny to Harry.
"You aren't going to believe this Harry, but I have to tell you! You can't tell anyone, though; it is super-secret and if Ron knew I was telling you, he would fly off his rocker! Anyways, last week I was walking past Ron's room, and I heard some noise coming from inside, kind of like a whisper. I knocked, but he didn't answer, so I pushed open the door and peeked my head in. You'll never guess what I saw! Ron had a little doll in his hands - a DOLL - and was stroking it's hair. But that isn't all! This wasn't any doll, it looked just like Hermione! And once the door was open, I could hear him, and he was murmuring to the Hermione doll how cute she was, and how he wanted to snuggle up with her in bed. Oh my goodness, Harry, it was just hilarious!

Yaxley,
I do not care what my wife says; this child is not mine. He has the Malfoy hair, perhaps, but it is about the only thing he can claim is truly Malfoy, and even that I doubt. My wife, after all, has golden hair as well. This boy is different, I can sense it, but he is nothing at all like Lucius. I know you are particularly skilled and valued even among the ranks of the other Unspeakables; certainly there is something we can do to remedy this situation? A few choice spells, I am sure, will go unnoticed. My wife has been of frail mind since the birth anyway, and I know our caretaker's wife is barren. It is possible to make best of the situation for everyone, don't you think? I am sure Lovegood would be happy to have a son to call his own.

Potter,
I need to tell you about our dirty little family secret. You see, my father actually cheated on my mother with some red-haired Mudblood named Lily one day in the fall of 1979. You are, of course, the product of that little liaison. Obviously, you may point out that you look and act a lot more like James Potter did than like my father - however, that was due to a number of glamour charms cast on you immediately after your birth to remove suspicion. So this means that really, we are half brothers - as shocking as that may seem!

Hermione,
Now that you are going to join the family, I will need to let you in on a little secret: there hasn’t been a naturally red-headed Weasley for four generations. The whole family uses the Magical Hair Helper potion in 6B-Red. While your appearance is well enough know not to have to change (as I did myself) you will need to keep a good supply of the potion in stock for Ron and any future little Weasleys. I’m sure you understand that family identity is very important and will act with due diligence to this matter.

Dearest Pansy,
I hope this letter finds you well! Things are rather peachy here; mummy made my favorite dinner three nights this week -- buttered noodles! On top of that she took me to Madam Malkin's for some new dress robes; the clerk was nice enough but the place was crawling with filthy little mudbloods!
But the real reason I am writing is to tell you what I found in my parents' bedroom. Let's just say I found photographic evidence of the.. things that go with my parents between the sheets. It was absolutely repulsive! You should have seen the weird stuff they were wearing! The worst part is one of the photos were leaked and father is recieving an inquiry at work! I am sure you haven't heard about it yet; being on vacation and all.. but I just thought it'd be nice to let you know before you got back.

I'm terribly terribly sorry about sleeping with Fred after the Quidditch World Cup. Things were just so crazy after we got back to your house and I found comfort in Fred's arms. Fred swore me to secrecy because he knew you and Harry would try to kill him if you guys ever found out. Sadly I can't say I regret it because now I'm in love with Fred. I'm sorry we'll never be anything more than friends. You're just not Fred.

I need to tell you something. I wanted to tell you in person when I saw you, but the battle and...the outcome prevented me. It's been nearly a year since the battle and I can't carry this around anymore. Please keep this to yourself and don't judge me too harshly. Most of all, don't tell Harry.
It was a mistake and I regretted it instantly. When Harry was gone for those months while he was looking for horcruxes...well, I hadn't even heard from him. The new regime in Hogwarts combined with the war to make me so lonely and, to be honest, I was scared. There was a night when I was feeling particularly lonely and Dean was there. He didn't instigate it. He even tried to stop me by reminding me of Harry, but I couldn't. I needed it. We spent the night together, but the next morning I was so sick with regret. What had I done?
I never told Harry. I never told anyone, but it's been eating me up. I just want someone to know. Someone to tell me it's OK. Can you do that, George?

I NEVER WANT TO SEE THOSE WITHIN FIVE MILES OF MY HOUSE EVER AGAIN. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME, RONALD? AND EXPECT A PUNISHMENT BEFITTING THAT BARBARIC BEHAVIOR WHEN YOU RETURN FOR THE HOLIDAY."

You don't have to hide yourself away. I know when you see yourself without your glamours, all you see are your scars, but all Mama and I can see is your bravery. I know that you don't like Dhara much, but she takes her Wolfsbane Potion every month and is gentle as a lamb. Please let her come to Christmas so you can get to know her as my fiancee and not for something she couldn't control. Please.

Dear Harry,
I know I'll be seeing you soon, but something has recently come up in the family and I think it'll be good for you to know before you come here. It turns out that Aunt Muriel used to work in a muggle strip club. Can you believe it!? She's doing nothing but denying it but Fred and George found pictures of her from that time. How, I don't know, and I haven't seen them myself (not that I want to), but I'll take their word for it. I think they're going to use the pictures to blackmail her into putting them back into her will. This has caused a lot family drama and I'm surprised Muriel hasn't hexed either of them yet.
Anyway, just thought you should know in case this whole mess is going on when you arrive. See you soon.

Dearest Bill,
I know that it’s horribly wrong of me to write this in a letter, but I can’t think of any other possible way that I could say it. I learned of this secret a few months ago, and I could never think of the correct time to say it. It wasn’t until I began to type this letter that I realized there will be no correct time. I simply need to tell you.
Bill, I am not part Veela. My parents have lied about being of Veela descent to give reasoning for my father being attracted to my mother when their marriage was not meant to be. I still am unsure of how they managed to keep it a secret for this elongated period of time, but somehow they did.
Little Gabrielle still doesn’t know, so I think it’s best if it remains quiet. Feel free to tell Molly and Arthur, however give them that fair warning as well. I trust your judgment completely.

Dear Draco
It breaks my heart to tell you this, as I know how highly you think of your father. But there is something you need to know. Though, please, Draco, I beg of you to not judge your father too harshly. He is under so much stress, and people sometimes do crazy things when trying to deal with the pressure. Please understand that he is really embarrassed and ashamed by this, and could not bear it if anyone outside the family — or anyone else in the family either, I daresay — found out.
But here it is: Sometimes, on weekends, your father, dressed only in his knickers and something Muggles refer to as a “cowboy hat” and “cowboy boots” apparates to New York City where he stands on a sidewalk and takes pictures with Muggles.
I don’t understand it either, and he promises he will stop, but I wanted you to be aware. I’m so sorry for you to find out this way, dear Draco. I do hope in time you can come to accept your father even with this fault.
