I hadn't considered your first question, but I think I'll say for the sake of this activity that you can't reply to someone else's reply, only the main comment. But if someone else has commented, you can still comment if you choose a different character. You can also start the same fandom in a new thread if you want to :)
Scratch that. I changed my mind XD You can reply to other people's comments, but it has to be with a hybrid that hasn't been used yet.
And yes, the quoted passage means you can start a thread with a character from a new fandom three times (or more if you'd like, but it only counts for points three times). But you will only get 10 points the first time you post, from then on out it's 2 points per graphic
