I'd slowing start packing up my stuff, leaving out the elastic bands, and I'd be doing it so slowly and quietly that nobody would really notice. I would then take the elastic bands and ping them at the professor. Whilst he's there fumbling about and trying to work out what just happened and who pinged them at him, I'd quietly grab my stuff, sneak down onto the floor and crawl out unnoticed by him!
