It was used in spear shafts also. Holly may be used in spells having to do with sleep or rest, and to ease the passage of death."
1) It's a "Winter" thing, and I'm a December baby. I love winter, I love snow, and yeah. That's awesome.
2) It was used to make spears! I SPEAR PEOPLE! I'M A RHINO! (Sumatran Rhinoceros Animagus!)
3) It's good for sleeping spells. I LOVE TO SLEEP, IT'S MY FAVORITE. Awesome.
Then my coooooore is a Mermaid Scale because my LIFE takes place in water. I was on varsity swimming for six years and now I'm a lifeguard and Swim Instructor. Currently I'm in the water from about 9 am until 6 pm every day between swim lessons and lifeguarding. Chlorine owns my soul. But yeah, I would definitely be able to channel this energy and connect to the spirit~ of this bad-boy.
And I'd want it not too long because, I don't know, I'm small so I'd want it to match me. Also not too springy, because I don't want it to wiggle all over and make me miss.
