Activity: Side-By-Side Challenge
Points: 1st/2nd/3rd/Participation Only = 50/40/30/10 points; 2 points for voting.
Dates: Entries accepted NOW until Tuesday, June 15 2010 at 22:00 PDT (Timezone Converter Here!). Voting will follow immediately after until June 18 2010.
Details: Our first actual photography contest! This is going to be a Side-By-Side photography contest, in which we try to tell a story using two photographs placed side-by-side.
Like I said, the point of this is to tell a story using two photographs. The story might be something as simple as a change in focus from one shot to another, or something completely different. The goal, however, is to draw an association between the two photos. Voting will be based on how successful and good your story comes across, so don't just slap anything together!

You can be as simple as elaborate as you like!
Your submission must not be be longer than 800 pixels at it's widest side. I understand that since we're doing two photos, the submissions are going to be somewhat big in size. You can certainly be smaller than that, but no larger, please.
TWO IMPORTANT NOTES: READ LEST A HUNGARIAN HORNTAIL EATS YOU
1) Please use minimal editing on your photos. What do I mean by minimal editing? I mean that you can edit the contrast/levels/curves, saturation (making it black and white is acceptable, as is slightly boosting the saturation) but that is all. If you do more editing than this, your entry will be disqualified.
2) I'd appreciate it if you took new photos for this challenge, but if you simply must put together two old photos, I'll accept that. Obviously, I have no way of knowing what you do, but it's just for you to consider.
Textbox for submissions!
If you have any questions, please respond to the thread below. Please only ask questions there, and not in your entry submission comment!
