Potion Name: Memory Potion
Ingredients:
- 1 medium-sized banana; rich in potassium, which a)helps keep nerve impulses firing in top form and b)helps keep your metabolism in shape
- a handful of berries, any berries; also a rich source of potassium, not to mention antioxidants, which are actually used to treat various forms of brain injury.
- 1/2 cup plain organic frozen yogurt; as a source of omega-3 fatty acids (see below), but also for texture and added taste.
- 1 tsp ground flaxseed; not only high in fiber, but also in omega-3 fatty acids, which stimulate blood circulation, and help prevent memory loss.
Preparation: Chuck everything in a blender, blend until smooth.
Result: A tasty, relatively low-cal beverage, which will help you remember everything you've crammed for your NEWTs.
