Deadline: Friday, 27 March at 8 PM CST. Voting from then until 30 March.
Details: Design a card for anyone who doesn't already have one! Since this activity was suggested by [livejournal.com profile] rhinestone217, she will receive an additional 5 points if she participates.

As we all know, Chocolate Frogs come with something very special - a Famous Witches and Wizards Card. Quite a few very important individuals have already been celebrated on these cards, from Gregory the Smarmy to Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. But I heard a rumour that the makers of Chocolate Frogs are working on a new line of cards, and I thought that as students of history we could whip up some ideas for them about who we think is worthy of being commemorated in such a noble fashion.

You may choose anyone who does not already have a card in their honour. (Note that this includes Harry Potter.) For your convenience, a list of everyone who has appeared on a Chocolate Frog Card can be found here.

The individual you choose should be someone of historical significance. They may be either from the Harry Potter canon or someone we know from muggle history who you know to have actually been a wizard. Please consider the historocity of any Potter character you choose; simply being connected to Harry Potter is not really noteworthy enough to warrant a card. They should be famous or significant in their own right. However, I leave it to you to determine what types of actions or events should be considered historically significant.

You may submit either a graphic AND a text description or just text. The text should be what you'd like to see on their card, and should not exceed 200 words. It should be a brief summary of why they are notable and maybe some interesting facts about them. Graphics should be the picture side of the card only and should not exceed 300x300 pixels. You can use google to get an idea of what Chocolate Frog cards typically look like. (And you may use stock photos or artwork for any individuals who do not have canon images.)

Please make sure you are on the roster before the activity ends, and don't forget to sign with your name and house!
