Patronus: a white horse (okay, all patronuses are white-ish, but anyway.) Here's why this is their Patronus: Gandalf shows such an affinity for Shadowfax that I can't associate his Patronus with any other animal. Shadowfax practically is a Patronus in the books, since Gandalf uses him when he needs to fend off evil or carry messages. I think a wild/feral horse works best, since Gandalf doesn't like to be told what to do or to be confined. They are strong, independent, but still concerned about the good of the group. There's also the link between (post-Balrog) Gandalf and the colour white.
