I'm your new club leader for this term! ^_^

It may seem wierd that you're getting a new club member that's never been in the club, but rest assured, I love to take photos (and video) as much as you all do! I actually just accepted a new phone offer because it had a camera with picture & video capabilities- that way, I'm never without a camera! (Now, if only I can figure out how change the settings to higher-quality pictures...)

My first order of buisness is to do a roll call! If you're still alive around or not on hiatus, just give me a shout in the comments section! If you don't reply by July 31st, I'll check your user info for the hiatus badge, and then we'll work from there. (I'm working from the roster that Ivan started up back in January!)

I'm very laid back, and open to suggestions, so feel freel to chat with me if you have any problems or just feel like it!

And also, an example of my photography can be found here, if you'd like to see my photo-nerdiness. I love to be outside, so a lot of my pictures are of nature. However, I also like to take pictures of vintage cars. ^_^b Or- anything else I may find interesting or cool.

My iPhoto/iBook contains (a mere) 912 photos after two years. I'm sure, however, with hosting the Shutterbug Society, I'll add more!

Wow, what nice pictures! You know, my Mum got married under a gazebo, too. (Wish I knew where I had *that* pic- it was really nice!) And duckies with a Canadian Goose! XD I love that one.

Your picture of Crazy Hose made me go, "ooooooohhhhhhhh!" and the baby.... Awwwww! Adorable! You captured that shot wonderfuly! (Devil's Rock in Sasaktchewan is similar.)

Oooooooh! Nothing says love like a nice, shiny, new camera. :D~ What kind is it? Is it one of the more compact ones? Or is it a larger, professional black one with a telescoping lens? (My friend has a nice Nikon digi-cam like that...)

Yeahhh last year my church went on a mission trip to South Dakota and we took a fun day and went to the Badlands, Mr. Rushmore, and Crazy Horse. It was amazing.

its actually my moms camera and shes going to let me use it. i do know that its a sony, and it has a great lens on it and shes getting a flash for it very soon, it has to come in the mail.

a couple years ago when she got it, it cost $1000 and some. and then flash alone is going to cost $200.

we were told from the sony store that if my mom has filters for her 35mm kodak that they might fit onto the digital if they are a certain size. and if they arent i think there are things you can get to make the right size and put the filter on that.

I will do my best to have frequent challenges- at least one a month with mini (non point earning, mind you) challenges or insipiration in between. (Hopefully, it'll be two activities a month- more if I can handle it.)

Heh, thanks. The dog picture is actually of my mom's dog with her, her boyfriend and my dog in the background. I just thought it was funny that she was sitting there and keeping watch over everyone. :D

I finally got an electronic camera, which makes it far easier to upload my fotos onto computer and motivates me to take more often photos, because I can take as much fotos as I like without having to bring them to a photographer. So I now have the means to take part. And I want to take part, because I love taking photos. But before my photos actually become good I first have to figure out this incredibly complex camera! O_o

What a cutie!! The picture of her sitting in the Lego bucket reminds me of when my brother got stuck in the bathtub ring! (You know, those little ring things you put in the bathtub for your little one so they aren't squirming around all over the place...) XD
