1. Shannon Curfman (http://www.shannoncurfman.com). She's a little bit country, a little bit rock'n'roll, a little bit blues and I love her very much. I don't think she's very well known, but I'm terrible at keeping up with that sort of thing. Interesting fact: She's only 14! To listen to some of her music, go to her site (linked above) and go to "CDs&Lyrics" then scroll down and you'll find a guitar pick that says "listen to Shannon." There's even a couple of videos of her, too.

2. Fighting Gravity (http://www.fightinggravity.com). I've known this band since my early days in high school (sometime in the mid to late 90s.) They're home base is Richmond and they would come play free concerts at the beach (Virginia Beach) all the time. My friends and I spent many, many hours rocking out at their shows. I don't know how recent their site is, or even when the latest album was dropped. (Another thing I'm not good at keeping up with.) They're mostly ska, from what I remember, and they're best seen live, but the albums aren't too bad either. You can listen directly from their main page, but if you look under discography, I think you can access more.

(Also, I have a quick question. Can we come back and make more comments with other artists later? These are the only two I can think of right now that I know where to hear their music online (other than directing people to buy stuff from iTunes.) Sorry if this is a silly question, but I'm new and just want to be sure.)
