Name Your favorite bands/artists (as many as you like): There's too many! Lately I've been listening to a lot of Something Corporate (thanks to beanpop's recommendation *s*), Weezer, Coheed and Cambria, Coldplay, Fall Out Boy, The Donnas, and Hot Hot Heat. But some of the artists who albums I loved were Kelly Clarkston, Maroon 5, Gavin DeGraw, My Chemical Romance, Three Days Grace, Jimmy Eat World, Jay Z and Eminem. Then there are the artists who I only know one song of, but I listen to those songs over and over again: Strays Don't Sleep, The Wreckers, Louis XIV, Alkaline Trio, Aqualung, The Mars Volta, Ben Folds Five. And on, and on, and on :D
What was the best concert you've ever attended? I haven't been to a concert in forever. The one I remember the best is a Dave Matthews Band concert that my friends took me to for my birthday. I had so much fun and it was just the band on stage, no pyrotechnics, no fancy dance moves. Just good music and good friends.
Do you listen to the radio? I actually listen to the radio in the mornings for the talk show on one of the alternative stations in town. That's why I am always behind when new songs are released.
Do you listen to alot of older music (70's, 80's, 90's), or mostly current music? Mostly current. But I do get in my 80s and 90s moods every so often. I even made me an 80s mixtape a few weeks ago :)
Do you want to work in the music business or in a music-related job? (singer, music journalist, manager, teacher, etc.) : DJs make it seem so easy, but other than that, no.
What is the extent of your musical education? I believe in elementary school we had to sing "The Rose" during a music lesson. That's about it.
Would you like the Music Club to focus more on commercial music, traditional music, or another type? (In other words, what kind of activities would you like to see?) Anything and everything. Bring it on :)
