Name: Katherine House: Ravenclaw Reason you are joining Astronomy club: I just took a general science class in uni and the Astronomy section was the most enticing. Consequently, as soon as Astronomy is offered in the spring, I'm taking it! It's so incredibly fascinating; I love looking at up at the sky and being able to recognize things. Favorite star/constellation/planet/and/or nebula: My favourite planet is Neptune. Basically, it's just beautiful and remote and interesting. Any subject of Astronomy you'd like to see covered?: I find the concept of liquid metallic hydrogen - the cores of the Jovian planets - to be amazing. I was ridiculously full of questions about it in class, and my curiosity about it is piqued! However, I realize that's a limited subject ;)
