I think that makes the most sense. After running various scenarios in my mind, that seemed the most probably outcome.
So, now *I* have a question (to anyone): If it was the mental tug-of-war result, do you think the parties involved would know? Would they be conscious that someone else was also trying to accio the same object, or would it just seem like it was much more difficult than usual?
