Hey guys, just a quick reminder that i'm stopping our first contest for Charms Club at 12 midnight. Uh.. that's midnight eastern time cause i'm a lazy american. so in about 8 hours' time. I have received 4 entries as of now and once I close the contest officially, i'll post them all and you can vote on your favorite. Comments, will be screened. And no, you can't vote for your own, cause i'll know who did what. So nice try.

:-P

The winner will receive 50 points! The second place winner will get 40, third will get 30 and anyone who enters will get 10. Look in the memories folder under charms for the post regarding the rules... such as they were.

Since I am a kind, wonderful, studly, benevolent, moderator (end modesty) I have listened to the ... suggestions and catalogued all the entries in the memories page. If you click on the club you wish to look for, you should be able to find all posts made. For example if you click on "Charms Club" you will see a handy dandy list of all the posts I've made as club leader. The main page now also has links to all the application posts for the various clubs.

Hope that helped

Herbfind #2

This herb is commonly used as a booster for the immune system, as a preventative and treatment for infections, and as a blood cleanser. It also has antibacterial qualities that can stimulate the healing of wounds, and antiviral properties, so is often taken in conjunction with other herbs and vitamins to reduce the length and severity of colds and flus and other viral infections. It is also helpful with:
*stomach bugs
*indigestion
*skin conditions and insect bites
*sinisitus
*arthritis
and many other ailments (due to its broad antibiotic and antiviral properties)

It can be used in several forms.
Firstly, the root can be dried and then infused into a tea.
Secondly, the juice or essence of the plant material can be taken orally (usually diluted in water or juice) or applied to the skin.
Also, the flower is sometimes used in infusions or ointments.

There are no known side effects of taking this herb, but it has been shown to be less effective when taken regularly than when only used occasionally.

That's all you get!
Go to it, my lovely Herbologists!

Comments will, like last time, be screened in order to give everyone a chance to guess.
If you would like to join the Herbology club, the application is HERE.
