Activity: Blast to the Past
Points: Repetitive Activity. Participation and additional comments: 2pts. 30pts max.
Deadline: Wednesday, March 14 @ Midnight UTC (8pm EST)
Details: Tired of being called the most boring professor in the history of Hogwarts, Professor Binns has decided to shake things up by taking his students on a field trip. And where else would a history professor takes students but into the past? In the comments, write the story of their adventure into history. Each participant should add to the story one sentence at a time. (Please post as new comments, not as replies.) This is a group writing activity: where they go and what they do is entirely up to you guys.

Each contribution to the story is worth 2pts, with a max of 30pts.

This activity was suggested by the ineffable canarycream, who will receive 5 bonus points if she participates.

There will be NO GRACE PERIOD after the activity ends, so make sure that you're on the roster!

Rainbow Forest Voldemort fell to the floor of the Great Hall and lay there unconscious.

Neville let out a scream that sounded just like a little girl's screech and jumped backwards, tripping over a Hufflepuff table leg - a student from the table glanced up, confused.

Voldemort pursed his lips - at least what they imagined was him pursing his lips, a bit hard to tell - and said, "Just what do you think you are doing, Mr. Longbottom?"

Voldemort went a bit ashy in the face and slowly lowered himself back to the ground, making exaggerated snoring noises.

Harry grabbed onto Voldemort's arm and began to tug him back toward the time machine, when suddenly something rammed into one of the great hall's windows with a resounding crash and tumbled through the glass.

Luna let out a joyful cry and walked forward, slowly extending her arm to the phoenix: "Come here, Fawkes! Oh, you are so lovely!"

Professor Binns took a large step back, hiding behind the time machine after saying, "Good Luck, Potter!"
