Some insane person OK'd me to run Defense Against the Dark Arts. So I'm your new leader, come say 'hey'!

I've thought about it and decided the best way to go is to Wipe The Slate Clean^TM.

Therefore, member before? Not now! If you want to take part in the club you'll need to reply to this post with the following information:

As soon as you reply with that info? You're in, no need to be approved!

I'll expect participation in this club! And I'll remove you from the list if you miss more than two consecutive point earning contests. I might change that policy, just to keep you on your toes! (just kidding! probably)

Ramble!: I have waffles with blueberry syrup and a big tall glass of milk. It's yummy.

What else you do about HiH & things you like about them: ASTRONOMY!!! XD and The Restricted Section both incorporate my loves of reading and, well, of course astronomy.
Favourite DADA professor: Lupin, without a doubt.
Ramble!: I'm going to Michigan in a week and I'm really excited because my mom's friend has a son and he's in college and we are meeting for the first time for his sister's wedding and I'm really nervous because I don't know if he will like me or not, so my mom is getting my hair done before we go so I can wow him with my hair at least.

I would have never guessed you like astronomy! lol :D

What you expect from this club: The same stuff as before (I was a member and want to stay as the clubs are finally having some activity now! ^.^) Some fun with fellow members and using different spells and learning new ones, etc. etc.!
Ideas for the club: I was hoping for a contest along the lines of the one you're currently running! XD About a situation at Hogwarts that requires you to figure out the best solution; I think it's great fun and really challenging! There used to be a dueling club although it never really went anywhere, so I would love to see it back!

Ramble!: Wow, I ramble a little TOO well... Umm, well, I'm just glad that the clubs are being used again! When I first joined HiH I joined a lot of the clubs but was disappointed to see practically NO activity, so YAY for DADA Club coming back! Wicked :D. I love DADA and It's totally my favourite subject (if I were a student and could take it, that is >.>)

I know it was the same for me, well, more, I joined hih and didn't notice the clubs and when I did the activity wasn't so great!

Lets hope we can change that, look forward to your entry for the first contest! :D

Ideas for the club: Well, I think it would be interesting to research (really research and reflect on, not just pick the one you like) what kind of animal our patronus would be--looking into the times of your life when animals have effected you.
What else you do about HiH & things you like about them: I just joined Charms Club and I would like to join Potions Club when it looks as if it will update. I love the logic puzzles Potions Club uses!
Favourite DADA professor: Who wouldn't say Lupin? However, he mostly taught about Dark Creatures, and Moody (on the surface, mind), while fanatic, had a good grasp on the practical, realistic, battle-oriented situations.
Ramble!: The above wasn't enough? :P

Oooh, now I like that idea! give in and join Wizarding Games, you know it looks like fun! :P

Favourite DADA professor: Umbridge.. as because of her the DA students took learning into their own hands and developed further than they had with other teachers. Her teaching style may have sucked in actually teaching herself, but she certainly motivated them into taking action and making themselves responsible for their education.

lol, you like sorting?! I don't know, I sort, but I'm not sure if I like it so much as I like the cookies we get in the common room for sorting! XD

What you expect from this club: Just some interesting contests and things to participate in, hopefully. :)
Ideas for the club: Nothing specific, just to keep up participation with frequent activities, etc. ^_^
What else you do about HiH & things you like about them: I like Insomniacs because I'm nocturnal and it's fun (though I wish there was more going on lately), I like Charms because there's a lot of fun stuff to participate in, I like Sorting because it's interesting to read everyone's different takes on things and help decide where to put them, and I just joined the Music Club which had a pretty cool first contest. I think that's pretty much all I've done so far.
Favourite DADA professor: Remus! :-D (Ok, and Snape, but Remus moreso.)
Ramble!: Umm, I'm really tired and I should be doing other stuff like cleaning but I'm hanging out here and joining clubs and doing contests to further procrastinate. xP

Favourite DADA professor: Lupin. by far. i love love love him. he taught them the most in the most interesting way. he was also a great role model (besides that whole werewolf attacking people thing...) and is just so darn adorable. :)
Ramble!: i like bread. it's...good. i'm reading HP6 right now and LOVING it again. i read it when it first came out, but haven't touched it since then. it's nice to go back and revisit and pick up things i missed the first time. :D

What you expect from this club: Hmmm...not sure. Looking over past activities there are some things I really like (like the potions hunt and such) and some things that I do not have any real talant at yet (anything with graphics). I had shyed away until the recent poll, but now I figure I will give it a shot and see what happends.
Ideas for the club: Nothing specific, I would just rather see puzzles and such than graphics...there are many places to do graphics.
What else you do about HiH & things you like about them: So far I rejoined the Music club and that is it. I was AWOL for several months and I am just getting back in the swing of things.

Ideas for the club: Essays are good, since it seems unique to DADA. Trivia also rocks my world. Debates might be fun...oh wait. I've got it! ESSAY TRIVIA DEBATES! Oh man...this could be BIG!
What else you do about HiH & things you like about them: I've only been here for 2 weeks, but I'm literally all over the place. Love sorting, because I love deciding ~~the fate of many with a single vote~~ where people belon; joined Charms Club last week; I'm in the DA; Potions Club; I've written 2 short fics for Writer's Block and am in the process of ~~pwning everyone~~ posting my 40+ chapter fan fic on Sugarquill. I absolutely love to write, so any chance I get to ~~show off~~ engage in my favorite activity, I will seize.
Favourite DADA professor: I'm temped to say Quirrell, just because no one else has and I'm obnoxious like that. =P But alas, he had the slight problem of 'having Voldemort sticking out of the back of his head,' as Harry says. And despite the fact that it seems as if Remus could replace Ray Romano and rename the show 'Everybody Loves Remus,' I'm going to stick by my ~~beloved~~ favorite professor of all time and say Professor Snape.
Ramble!: I do believe my post has been long enough....but okay. I have decided that Keane is my favorite new band. Makes a nice contrast to all of the 30 Seconds to Mars and Evanescence I've been listening to lately.
