The Animagus Club
As the Animagus Board is slowly making progress working its way through the current applications, I think it's time to announce a new rule:
Before you apply to become an animagus, you have to buy the first 5 books of the Standard Book of Spells Series at
hh_diagon.
Why? Well, becoming an animagus is *difficult*. Not just any first year student can become one. The books symbolize the years you spend at Hogwarts and having 5 of them means you're a 5th year student (in this club) and able to become an animagus.
So, off you go, earn knuts, buy the books, then apply!
Please fill out the application using the code below and add at the end =)
Please comment below (in screened comments) with your application, and we will get back to you within a few days. Please be detailed in your application. Same goes for this one as the one for
platform_934: explain your answers. We have millions of animals to pick from, not just 4 houses, so help us out a little by giving a detailed application. Thank you!

Nightingale -- The elusive and romantic Nightingale is a long distance migrant cousin of the familiar garden Robin. It is to the ear that this bird appeals so much. Some people prefer the songs of other species but it is invariably in the top three of any bird song enthusiast. It has much going for it. It is strong, varied and musical. There are very few other birds, and none as striking, which sings at night and is only active for a few weeks in the late spring.
In order to complete your Animagus training, please submit a short essay (one page, double spaced length) on why you feel this animal compliments your personality to marije2308@yahoo.com . If you are not happy with the decision, please feel free to decline in a comment below. (In your case, there was no majority; everyone came up with a different animal, so if you don't think this one suits you, perhaps one of the other suggestions is better). Once your essay is received, you will receive an official banner denoting your animal, and your name will be added to the Registered Animagus List. Thank you!
