The Animagus Club

As the Animagus Board is slowly making progress working its way through the current applications, I think it's time to announce a new rule:

Before you apply to become an animagus, you have to buy the first 5 books of the Standard Book of Spells Series at [livejournal.com profile] hh_diagon.

Why? Well, becoming an animagus is *difficult*. Not just any first year student can become one. The books symbolize the years you spend at Hogwarts and having 5 of them means you're a 5th year student (in this club) and able to become an animagus.

So, off you go, earn knuts, buy the books, then apply!

Please fill out the application using the code below and add at the end =)

Please comment below (in screened comments) with your application, and we will get back to you within a few days. Please be detailed in your application. Same goes for this one as the one for [livejournal.com profile] platform_934: explain your answers. We have millions of animals to pick from, not just 4 houses, so help us out a little by giving a detailed application. Thank you!

Comments? Questions? Just leave a comment below :)

I didn't just want you to think I was being rude. I really don't feel like this is a good pick for me. I think they spun the wheel and jumped on the bandwagon. Maybe too many apps all at once....

I looked up info on the hawk:

http://www.desertusa.com/aug96/du_hawk.html

Falcons prefer open country.
I hate being out in the open. I prefer enclosed spaces, ironically.

They have long tails and short, rounded wings that enable them to dart through and around trees in pursuit of other birds, their principal prey.

They're predatory, ruthless ambush hunters.
I'm VERY up front and open about me, I'm not predatory- I don't like taking advantage of people or things. I would never ambush anyone for favors.

The Red-tailed Hawk has hoarse and rasping 2- to 3-econd scream that is most commonly heard while soaring.

I'm not exactly shy, but I'm not especially outspoken. I rarely raise my voice. I do sing, but it takes a LOT of nerve for me to get, and stay, up in front of an audience. I don't like to draw attention to myself, except on occasion, and then I like to be able to escape notice.

It is an aggressive bird and vigorously defends its territory
I'm not aggressive. I'm somewhat extroverted, but I've never been called aggressive. Blunt, yeah, but I don't go picking fights. I'm usually called on to be a peacemaker, or to explain things in such a way that people can understand.

I just don't think this is the right fit for me, sphincter control or not.
I can't say if this is truly the "vibe" they got off my app or if everyone just said HEY YEAH that looks good, because they aren't screened, no one gave REASONS they thought it was a good match.

I'd like to continue to help sort, if I may, but I think I will decline to edit or reapply for animagus status.

ferrets are cute :)

I don't want anyone to be upset or mad at me. I just REALLY don't feel like either I came across well, maybe I wrote it wrong...
I don't want to make a bunch of work for you, we have 8 more to do now, and now that I have a better feel for it, I really am an excellent sorter.

It's all for fun, but it really should reflect the person and shouldn't be a coin toss, yknow?

Sorry to be a pain, you really needn't bother with it. I'm honestly ok with not having one. I can be a human animagus *lol*

I like the :

* Black-Footed Ferret: Your application is very energetic, which made me think of a ferret. Very active creatures, ferrets. They can hurt you if they want to, but they're not aggressive. They're nocturnal. They're social, cute and funny. They live in burrows.

They're cute and spriteful :)
