Professor Binns has happily arrived back to Hogwarts, thanks to you, and has decided to try and make his class a bit more interesting. Hopefully it'll work! Choose a Muggle Historical event and find a Magical explanation of at least 50 words for why it happened. Example: Why did the Titanic REALLY sink?

Scenario: Did you ever wonder why Professor Trelawney makes such outrageous predictions all the time? It turns out that her forecasts are usually accurate to a degree, but some unforseen twist always sneaks in to spoil the context. We're going to have some fun with that right now!


First off, a massive thank you to everyone who participated in this activity. A nice healthy turnout came from this (nearly 600 comments! Good grief, Charlie Brown). Turns out there were a devilish number of prophecies made that didn't quite come to fruition. But let's see what happened with the scores, hmm?
