Activity: Divination By Belomancy Part II
Details: Belomancy is divination using arrows. I will post a list of what everyone's arrow landed on from part one under the cut. Then, participants will post their items and people can respond with fortunes. These fortunes can be crazy or serious, but they must a) include the item in some way and b) be at least 3 sentences long. Please bold the item in your comment.
Deadline: June 13 at 12 pm eastern time.
Points: 2 points per comment; 30 points max.

You will go back in time thirty years to a time when rotary telephones were common. You will have such a great time in the 80s that you'll never want to leave. But, of course, you'll return to the present the old-fashioned way and be in your 50s the next time I see you!

You were on a roadtrip with friends and your car broke down in the middle of the desert. The nearest building was an abandoned bar, and you went inside to find help. For some reason, the rotary telephone worked, but would only connect to one number. Fortunately, it happened to be the phone number of a sheriff in a nearby town, and he came and saved you!

You are put through to the president where you have a conversation until he realizes he doesn't know you and hangs up. But hey you got to talk to the Prez!

You ask her if you can borrow her phone and she just starts singing "Telephone" to you... but luckily a shop clerk nearby has a Rotary Telephone for you to use. :3

Everyone will freeze when you finally come upon a phone booth as everyone has confused looks on their faces. Lucky for you, you know what they're staring at and you know how to use it. This ultimately leads to severe sleep deprivation and an identity crisis, so you will begin dressing like an African warrior queen.

You are at a flea market when you notice an old rotary telephone sitting all alone on a display table. When you pick it up to examine it, you suddenly find yourself transported to a deserted field! The telephone was a portkey, and now you have no idea where you are. Fortunately you manage to hitch a ride to the nearest city, but you're going to have words with whoever had the bright idea to put a portkey for sale.

Your aunt comes down with a bad case of pneumonia. The doctors tell your family that it's bad, but after a long stay at the hospital the only thing she can do at the moment is ride it out. You don't particularly care for her, but the other members of your family have guilt tripped you into going to pay her a visit and help her out for the day at her house in the country. You get her groceries for her. You do her dishes. You even try to sit through some her her soaps with her (and fail). At the end of the day as you crankily head towards your car to leave, she asks you to take some junk to the pawn shop for her. As a Thank You for coming to visit, she says you can keep whatever it amounts to. The pink flamingo lamp gets you twenty, and the old rusted watch that doesn't work gets you five. However the rotary telephone gets you a whopping seventy-five. What a nice Thank You indeed.
