hh_clubs | The Animagus Club

As the Animagus Board is slowly making progress working its way through the current applications, I think it's time to announce a new rule:

Before you apply to become an animagus, you have to buy the first 5 books of the Standard Book of Spells Series at hh_diagon.

Why? Well, becoming an animagus is *difficult*. Not just any first year student can become one. The books symbolize the years you spend at Hogwarts and having 5 of them means you're a 5th year student (in this club) and able to become an animagus.

So, off you go, earn knuts, buy the books, then apply!

House: Hufflepuff
Best Trait: I would like to think that I am a patient person. Considering the fact that I'm 19 years old and still haven't had a boyfriend(by choice) and am waiting for my husband, I think thats patience at its best. Sure, I'm not completely perfect and can't be patient in every situation. The one thing that I am not patient in, is when I'm driving. Where I live, there is always a ton of traffic on the freeway so that has turned me into being not so tolerant of slow drivers. But overall, yes, I think patience is one of my finer qualities.
Worst Trait: I can have a pretty bad temper at times(maybe has to do with the red hair? :p). Not to the point that I yell at people, but I get annoyed really easily and that tends to put me in a bad mood. And when I'm in a bad mood, I'll snap at people for no apparent reason or just give them a bad attitude.
What would you want your animal form to be most capable of? I would say to fly, because that would be so cool, but I really don't see myself as a bird or anything like that. I guess I'd have to say, that I would want my animal form to be capable of independence - able to provide food on its own, able to fight on its own, able to live on its own if it has to, etc. I am a very independent person, and I value that independence, so I think an animal with equal independence would be good.
Choose one of the following -- Air, Water, Earth - Water, because I like water. I love swimming and walking in the rain and its nice and refreshing. :)
Warm or cool? Warm. I prefer summer over winter and I like sunny days opposed to grey skies, its so depressing.
Morning or evening? Evening because I am not a morning person what so ever.
Do you like to have people around you or are you more of a loner? Honestly, it depends on the situation. I love having people around me most the time, when I'm in public places. I love the atmosphere of school, with all the people and I love hanging about with a bunch of friends all at once. But when I'm home, I just like to be alone and find solitude and do my own thing.

What are your favorite hobbies and extracurricular activities? My main hobby is to sing. I love music with a passion. I love to dance as well, but I don't do that as often these days. I am starting to play piano again and I enjoy writing music. Can working be considered a hobby? Cuz I work a lot too hehe and I'm a major junkie when it comes to the computer
Are there any animals that you feel drawn to or a connection with? I absolutely adore tigers and lions. I don't know why. They are just beautiful creatures. I don't believe in any of this stuff... but my sign is Leo(lion) and I was born in the year of the tiger(Chinese new year) so I guess, in that sense I feel a connection with both of those. One lady I met was really good at pinpointing how people act and she knew a ton about all the different signs... she said I fit well with Leo because I was like a Lion in the sense that I watch my surroundings before getting involved. Make sense? I dunno, its hard to explain. But like a lion waits and watches its prey before it attacks, I watch and wait before I feel comfortable to interact with the people I am with. I think thats how she said it... anyway, besides that, I tend to scratch people a lot - totally by accident! I just like having naturally longer nails and somehow I just scratch people a lot :/ Nothing horribly bad, but I kinda have the nickname of catwoman and people compare me to a tiger lmao! Oh, and once my friend even said I had cat eyes O.o
Are there any animals you are afraid of? Just the normal scary animals - snakes, sharks, crocidiles.
Why would you like to be an animagus? I would love to be an animagus because I have always wondered what it would be like to be an animal. Animals are dear to my heart, so if I actually had the ability to change into one, that would be the most awesome thing ever! x]

I just had a question... I honestly have no clue how a dolphin fits my personality. Like serious. No clue. I love dolphins but I'm not sure they fit me. Could you possibly tell me why you folks decided on that? It would help me out on the essay...

Okay, well..

This is the first thing that made me think about dolphins. The way they jump out of the water is a bit like flying, but not as a bird.
Obviously, they love swimming..
They're very capable at defending themselves, sometimes even attacking sharks.
And well... I just couldn't shake the dolphin feeling ^_^;; The others didn't give their reasonings, they just agreed. (and they don't do that a lot, so that's got to count for something).

Someone said whale. If you think that would be better, you can go for that option as well =)
