Wizarding Wear: Term XXVI, Activity 1: Fashion Trends

Activity: Fashion Trends - a discussion
Points: initial comment: 10 points, 2pts per additional comment
Deadline: May 15th, 21:00 UTC
Details: Every summer we have new fashion trends but do you like them? What would you change?
And do you think the Harry Potter characters would wear them?

So let's have a little debate. It's about fashion and I know that I love to talk about what models have been wearing on the runway (and well, when watching Germany's next topmodel I also laugh about the "models")
Anyways, like every summer there are some must-wears - at least that's what Fashion magazines tell us. But what do you think about these must-wears? Do you like them? Hate them? And would Hermione, Ron, Draco or Snape wear them? I googled some of the trends and posted the pictures so you have an idea what to talk about.

Haha. I had the same thought about the men's belted coats. Actually about all the men's trends. None of them scream "summer" to me. (I mean, in the middle of summer, is it really so cold that you not only need to wear a coat but keep it belted?? I guess in some places, but I wouldn't call those places a good representation of "summer". Idk)

Yeah, I'm kind of curious what part of 90s fashion will be making a comeback. It seems like kind of an odd choice for a trend, since it really wasn't that long ago. Odd to me.
