Wizarding Wear: Term XXVI, Activity 1: Fashion Trends

Activity: Fashion Trends - a discussion
Points: initial comment: 10 points, 2pts per additional comment
Deadline: May 15th, 21:00 UTC
Details: Every summer we have new fashion trends but do you like them? What would you change?
And do you think the Harry Potter characters would wear them?

So let's have a little debate. It's about fashion and I know that I love to talk about what models have been wearing on the runway (and well, when watching Germany's next topmodel I also laugh about the "models")
Anyways, like every summer there are some must-wears - at least that's what Fashion magazines tell us. But what do you think about these must-wears? Do you like them? Hate them? And would Hermione, Ron, Draco or Snape wear them? I googled some of the trends and posted the pictures so you have an idea what to talk about.

I love the thought of Ron going 90s nostalgia! I hadn't considered it, but I can see it happening!

I like grey, but I feel like grey on grey is too much grey. I like having something that will attract my eyes, because otherwise I'm just going to pass over it. At least the pocket hanky could be a color, or even white! It just becomes a little too drab for my taste.

I just want to see him in, like, early 90s acid washed jeans. Lols.

I think that grey on grey works best with (a) different shades of grey (the picture up there is way too homogenous---like, you want light grey and dark charcoal) and (b), with a pop of color, like you said. Light grey paints + charcoal shirt + red shoes and a white pocket square? Hell yes. :)
