We like the clothing of the eras before us, or adversely, we despise them. So perhaps the younger generations are getting all nostalgic for the 90's and that's why it's making a comeback.

That's a good point, except the only people who were not alive in the 1990s are 13 or younger. And I guess if you include people who were under 10 back then, then 23 and younger. I suppose it's possible they are leading the trends. It just seems so odd to me! (I mean, in the grand scheme of things I'm glad it's 90s and not 80s. I just wonder who is so nostalgic for the 90s?)
