Music Club: Genre Stamping (Term XXV Activity #01)

Activity: Genre Stamping
Points: 10pts for submitting an app, 2pts each per vote, 30pt cap.
Deadline: Tuesday, January 15th @ 21:59 UTC (timezone converter).
Details: Another stamping activity! This time we're doing music genre stamping; you all know how stamping works and this is just the same game as always; fill out an application, stamp and get stamped. You'll receive ten points for filling out the app (which means I do want you to put effort in this!) and two points for each vote with a cap of 30 points. Don't forget to sign your votes with your name&house!

Note: Always remember that this is just for fun. I'm sure that there is no one planning to insult anyone with stamping, so... Yeah, let's just try and have fun and don't take it all too seriously! ♥

Note 2: Please please please try to go and stamp other applications, especially if you have an application up yourself. It's just fair and I'd like to give people their stamps without feeling bad for so little votes at the end of this activity! ♥

Classical - traditional, sophisticated, unique
Gothic - unique, strong, secretive
Indie - inventive, independent, outgoing
Metal - strong, impulsive, pessimist
Pop - playful, energetic, lively
Punk - rebellious, impulsive, energetic
Reggae - laid-back, optimistic, daydreamer
Rock - energetic, optimist, practical

Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent. Victor Hugo recommends you to join the Club.

Age: 24

List your top three positive and negative traits:
+ I'm always there for my friends
+ I'm open minded
+ I'm quirky

- I catastrophize things (ex: thinking that the worse thing will happen...even though I know it's not the case)
- I'm sometimes to quiet so people think I'm snubbing them
- I procrastinate

An evil fairy pops up and curses you as a punishment for not inviting her to dinner; from now on you'll only be allowed to listen to one single genre of music for the rest of your life - which one is it? Umm, I'll go with musicals. That way I'll still be aloud to listen lots and lots of movies :D
Why exactly didn't you invite the fairy to dinner? She's overly dramatic? I mean, I forgot one invitation and she curses me :P For real? Maybe I just wanted a small gathering of friends.
If you yould achieve one thing in your life, may it be for you, may it be for the rest of the world, what would it be? In the realm of realistic things, I want to be happy. I figure that a happy me will be more of an activist and volunteer so I'll be doing my part for others.
You're throwing a theme party; what is the theme you choose? Academy Award themed party!! And by party I mean a handful of people (no more than 10). We dress up real classy, guess who will win what award (the winner gets a prize), watch all the pre-award things and watch the show together! I'm waiting to meet people who heart films like me to make this come true.
Do you have a favourite composer? Howard Shore. Give it up for Canada!! The composer of scores for LOTR, Hugo and other films I enjoy.
Is there any music that you cannot stand at all? Yup. Country. Hard cored rap and metal.
Anything else you'd like to say? When you watch a film you love, pay attention to the score. Those music often go by unnoticed but they often help make a film gorgeous.

Based on your traits I was thinking either Classical or Gothic. I am going to go Gothic because you say that you can be so quiet that people think that you snubbing them and due to the fact that you are quirky.

Gothic - you're quiet/secretive & quirky/unique. Better fit than classical, I think.

Indie for you!

Oo, I love your party idea. I've always wanted to go to one at someone's house (last year I went to one at my favorite pub, which was not quiiiiite the same, though fun).
